Barbara Walters can talk about heterosexual sex without Rosie around

I'm still scratching my head over something Barbara Walters said in a radio interview with Ryan Seacrest:

Barbara: We thought when Rosie (O'Donnell) left -- you know, because people would tune in to say 'What's going to happen today?'-- so we thought the ratings would go down but they haven't. So obviously, the audience is very loyal... and the Hot Topics have been fun. We've had a lot of fun. But then, there were some things we were able to discuss that we weren't able to discuss with Rosie like heterosexual sex... uhm, because you know...
Ryan: Because she doesn't have it

Barbara: ...because Rosie's lifestyle is different, being an open lesbian and we are perhaps not quite as political, quite as vocal about it as Rosie was but the Hot Topics have been very hot, very fun, also controversial and the ratings are up. So we're quite happy.

(You can listen to the whole interview here.)

I've watched The View a few times since Rosie's departure but I can't figure out what she means. What kinds sexuality discussions have occurred on The View that they couldn't have around Rosie? I would think you'd hit the "inappropriate to discuss on daytime television" barrier before you'd hit topics straight women can't discuss around a lesbian. Could Barbara be speaking about limits that are specific to Rosie?
