Happy birthday, Patrick Bristow!

Right now, I'm loving the redheaded comic for his role in IFC's The Minor Accomplishments of Jackie Woodman (a show our sister site also loves) as Mitchell, the gay assistant at Jackie's pop culture magazine. Mitchell's airheaded brand of snark contrasts hilariously against Jackie's more informed and bitter sarcasm. I'd complain that Minor Accomplishments doesn't show enough of Mitchell, but the show is so great it's hard to hold on to any dissatisfaction I have with the series.

Looking at his history, Bristow is probably best known for his role on Ellen and The Disney Channel's The Suite Life of Zack and Cody, though you've probably seen him pop up in plenty of memorable "Hey, it's that guy!" moments.

Bristow also works on Puppet Up!, the Jim Henson Company's edgy improvised comedy show. In honor of Bristow's big day, there are a few more pix of the funny guy after the break.
