Morrissey Take a, Morrissey Take a Bow?

In discussing his latest movie, Balls of Fury, Thomas Lennon told the New York Metro that he and Robert Ben Garant (who also wrote Reno 911!, A Night at the Museum and Let's Go to Prison) are working on I've Changed My Plea to Guilty, a "jukebox musical" that will, in the tradition of Mama Mia! and We Will Rock You, incorporate the music of a single artist ... in this case, Morrissey.

"It's for a very die hard set of fans," Lennon said.

This could just be a joke or just brilliant ... but I'm curious to find out what will motivate a character to burst into a performance of "Everyday is like Sunday" or "November Spawned a Monster".

I'd line up to see it

I think the entire Smiths ouevre is one big storyline, perfect for a musical. Its all about unrequited love, unruly bicycles and bucktooth girls from Luxembourg.
