mtvu's How Do I Say This? tackles coming out

I told you earlier about mtvU's interactive web series How Do I Say This? which invites an online community to offer advice on various topics. The site is now active and asking for advice on coming out, focusing on a young woman who is out in college but doesn't know how to be similarly open with her family.

The audience responds by submitting original videos, pictures and comments. Some films are personal stories, like one video where one woman talks about coming out to her mother. Other submissions are more creative like Ms. Sparks' evolving painting or Price's hilarious animation about a botched coming out attempt (I've had friends who've so been there). Eventually, the submissions are edited together into episode of How Do I Say This?.

It looks like it's still pretty young with plenty of room to grow, and I'm eager to see how How Do I Say This? develops. None of the submitted videos can be embedded but you can get a taste for the site with the promo below:
