Previewing fall TV's hotties
We've spent the past week covering the TV upfronts and while there's not a lot to anticipate in terms of gay visibility there's plenty of good looking men coming to the airwaves. Let's take a look at what the upcoming season has to offer.
The show I can't wait to see is ABC's Bryan Fuller's new series, Pushing Daisies with the riveting Lee Pace. Another reason to anticipate this series? Pushing Daisies also stars the fabulous Kristen Chenoweth. Can. Not. Wait.
ABC also has Peter Krause's return to broadcast television with the fun-sounding Dirty Sexy Money.
NBC's Journeyman has Rome's Kevin McKidd as a man who finds himself traveling unexpectedly through time, switching between 1999 and the present.
NBC also has a revival of The Bionic Woman. I have no idea what role Wil Yun Lee has in the story, but I suspect I'll be watching for him.
CBS' Viva Laughlin! is one of the more interesting upcoming series -- a musical with characters breaking out into pop tunes. That sounds so wonderfully Moulin Rouge, I can't wait. It gets even better, though, when you mix in the visual of Eric Winter singing those tunes (although if this pickup means his departure from Brothers & Sisters as Kevin's love interest, that's a real downer). Add in the promise of occasional guest appearances by series producer Hugh Jackman and there's some good inspiration to break into a chorus of "Viva
CBS also follows the latest trend by bringing some cute nerd action with Johnny Galecki in The Big Bang Theory. For those of you who'll fall for a cutie who can quickly spot where Aegean, Nabakov and phylum fit on a crossword puzzle, Galecki is adorable.
Cane is a soap opera about a powerful Latino family that brings the hotness of Jimmy Smits back to television. As a bonus, Cane also stars the equally-smoldering Nestor Carbonell as well as Rome's Polly Walker, who can chew scenery with the best of 'em.
I never found the time to get into Grey's Anatomy but with the triple threat of studliness found in Taye Diggs, Tim Daly and Chris Lowell, I think I'll find time for spin-off series Private Practice. (Should I be worried that all three of these guys have acted in five canceled series in the past three years?)
Right now, I'm mostly looking at The CW's Gossip Girl as something that might lessen the loss of Veronica Mars (Kristen Bell narrates the series), but Penn Bedgley has my attention. Submitted by on Mon, 2007-05-21 12:48. |

Fall Hotties [on new shows]
I also just noticed today that Zachary Levi (and Adam Baldwin) are going to be on a new show called "Chuck"
Viva Eric!
I was planning on watch "Viva Laughlin!" already, but Eric Winter seals the deal. He is HOT, love him on "B&S".
