Live with Regis and Kelly (syndicated) Check local listings Neil Patrick Harris is a guest on the show and even though the show website oddly only lists NPH as the star of How I Met Your Mother (instead of noting that he also has a movie opening this weekend), you know he'll make it worth tuning in to see.
Greek (ABC Family) 8:00 PM EDT
Tonight's episode focuses on a flashback to the Greek Ball where we learn how the various tensions between characters started... so who knows what that means for Calvin tonight. Still, it could be the perfect premise for Rusty and Calvin to mend their friendship after last week's prank war...
Gossip Girl (CW) 8:00 PM EDT
Tonight's post-strike return episode is promised to be the one where we learn which character among those teased earlier as gay will come out. While Gossip Girl was my favorite new show I never expected to like, I'm not holding out much hope that the series will make a surprising choice. Considering how the episode with Blair's gay dad was pretty dull, I'm mostly tuning in for the complicated friendship between Blair and Serena.
So, we know who the gay character is but have been sworn to secrecy. Any guesses? Vote in the poll after the break!
Yeah, I can see most of the people think it's Eric. Well it's the only logical choice (unless CW chickens out and makes one of the less prominent girls gay... phah)...
I still hope though that it might be Chuck trying out new things :P yeah yeah, not likely
He may be the obvious choice but it did say "gay", not lesbian, so I am not looking for it to be one of the women, regular or recurring. But if it were to be someone not always in the picture, I am still thinking the college boy that Granny tried to fix Serena up with at the ball. What the hell is a college graduate doing escorting a high school student.
But if it were a lesbian an obvious choice there would be Dan's ex from back home.
I love the Queerview, but often times it seems like you miss many of the programs that are airing on any given day.
For example, last week there was an episode of MTV's Made that featured an openly gay 15-year-old sophomore who wanted to become a member of his high school's varsity baseball team. It also featured an appearance by openly gay former major-leaguer Billy Bean. MTV repeats these shows often, so you might want to keep an eye out for it.
In addition, the Queerview hasn't really been following Groomer Has It, Animal Planet's new reality show about dog grooming. Aside from being hosted by Jai Rodriguez, I'm guessing at least three of the male contestants are gay, although I haven't read up on them to confirm. New episodes air Saturdays at 9:00 PM.
I only watched this GG episode because Greek on ABC Family is rebroadcast tomorrow. I must have missed something? There didn't appear to be anything gay happening on GG in the few moments when rich spoiled brats weren't whining (which was 99% of the on-screen time). Is this another show where the gay crew, gay cast, and gay production company is too afraid to show anything actually gay? Aren't broadcast networks leasing public airwaves to do their broadcasts? Why doesn't the absence of gay characters violate anti-discrimination laws in regions that have them if these are public airwaves? Same question goes for not having enough GLBT and non-GLBT racial minorities represented?
They mentioned in tonight's episode that Eric is only 14 years old. There is no way that Network Censors or the AFA would let him come out as gay. Maybe the return of Georgina to Serena's life is a lesbian thing. You know how those girl's boarding schools are hot beds of action to fill up theose lonely no-boys hours. Oh, wretch!
The handcuffs and wig thing threw me too. Right up to Chuck opening the door of his suite, I was thinking it was up for grabs. I think maybe the CW put out a lot of mixed messages. Chuck hanging off of Eric was weird on both sides. Eric wants a big brother, not a boyfriend, at least so far. Chuck is just so odd both in the character and the actor.
I still love this show, I was once dreading as the next 90210 rip-off. Pretty is as pretty does, me pretties.

I'll know in a few hours.

Did I miss it???
Gossip Girl??
Did They Edit It Out Last Minute?
Eric is out
