Tabatha visits a spa that turns out to be a filthy, unhygenic mess and sterrnly puts cleaning brushes into the hands of its employees ... hmm, that has me wondering how things would have gone if the Queer Eye guys told their makeover recipients to take a turn at cleaning.

I'm curious to hear what other people thought of this show since I didn't think it quite worked. At first glance, at least, I thought we got a lot more personality than an understanding of what makes a good stylist. Maybe things will improve with tonight's challenge where Melissa Rivers coaches the competitors on how to avoid creating a look that becomes the butt of jokes for Melissa and her mom. At the least, I'm more than a little fascinated by Phillip Bloch who rather looks like Bruce Campbell ready to play Esteban Colberto's brother.

Margaret and Selene decide to take on beauty standards and decide to put up a mother-daughter pageant of their own. In order to prepare for the Cho-Universe Pageant, they seek the advice of a pageant queen who sends them spray-tanning.
