Last Restaurant Standing's Sarah Willingham, Raymond Blanc and David Moore
If Top Chef has too much media synergy for your tastes, Chopped is too episodic and Iron Chef America too staged, perhaps BBC America's Last Restaurant Standing is the show for you. The new season just started and it includes a male couple among its teams of hopeful restaurateurs.
That's not the only cooking you'll find in today's epicurean TV listings...
The Martha Stewart Show (syndicated) Check local listings
Once again, Martha talks with MSNBC host Rachel Maddow, otherwise known as the one reason I've ever watched a show hosted by Tucker Carlson (that's right, I was one of the twelve people who used to watch The Situation). Today, Martha gets Rachel to help her cook a healthy dish. I don't know why the idea of watching celebrities cook with Martha is so exciting, but the last time I was excited about watching Martha it was over the promise of Rufus Wainwright baking cookies.
One Night Stand Up 3 (Logo) 8:00 PM EST
Logo debuts a new comedy special tonight featuring three out comics: Mimi Gonzalez, Jason Dudey and Julie Goldman. We're big fans of comedy in my household, what with the happy and trouble-free times you'll find on the news, and I'm always thrilled to discover new LGBT comic voices.
Scott and Richard

Last Restaurant Standing (BBC America) 9:00 PM EST
BBC America's cooking reality competition escaped my RADAR when it debuted last week, so I totally missed that this season's cast includes a male couple, Richard and Scott. Last Restaurant Standing has several duos who hope to open their own restaurant facing various challenges that come with the food service biz. I kept meaning to check LRS out last season, but never got around to actually watching. Does anyone watch this show? How does it compare to shows like Top Chef, Chopped, Masterchef or Posh Nosh?
Ten Items or Less (TBS) 11:00 PM EST
Normally, after an episode like last week, I'd expect a "barely there gay" like Richard (Christopher Liam Moore) to fade back into the occasional one-liner, but considering that Richard is now living with store manager Leslie there's the chance that there will be more to his life than trying to ignore his co-workers' battles with sanity.
