Queerview Television Guide (Thursday, February 4 2010)

Thursday night is a good night for gay geeks who enjoy edgy comedies as Brian and Steve return for the new season of The Sara Silverman Program and animated spy-parody Archer takes on a gay assignment.

But first, Fish is on the beat on today's One Life to Live. Be sure to join us as we follow along with a liveblog starting at 2PM Eastern.

The Wendy Williams Show (syndicated) Check local listings
RuPaul is scheduled to visit today. Considering Williams' over-the-top personality, this meeting sounds like a must-see.

The View (ABC) Check local listings
Today, Meghan McCain, who has spoken on how the GOP should support equal rights for gays, joins the View ladies as a guest-host and gay-fave comedienne Sarah Silverman stops by to chat about the new season of her show.

One Life to Live (ABC) Check local listings
With Stacy still missing and, possibly, in a winter car accident, Oliver and Rex are on the scene to try to find her. Meanwhile, Mitch learns the truth about her baby, will he believe her or will that just make things worse?

Surviving Survivor (CBS) 8:00 PM EST
This special gets ready for the upcoming "Heroes vs. Villains" season with a look back at the past decade of Survivor, including a look at the series original villain, Richard Hatch.

America's Best Dance Crew (MTV) 10:00 PM EST
While I haven't heard of any gay competitors on the current season of ABDC, but Static Noize is lead by Peter, who also performs in drag as "Baby Gaga".

The Joy Behar Show (HLN) 9:00 PM EST
For those of you who can't wait for the new season to debut tonight, Sarah Silverman is also scheduled to chat with Joy tonight.

Project Runway (Lifetime) 10:00 PM EST
The designers face one of those challenges where they have to balance the wishes of their client with their own style this week. Their clients are inspiring women who have faced heart disease, so it's likely someone will have a hard time saying no.

Archer (fx) 10:00 PM EST
The Dutchess is asked to put his seduction skills to work to save Mallory's career — on a male agent. Considering Archer's pedigree (it shares a creator with Frisky Dingo) I've got high hopes for this episode, especially since Archer is already one of my favorite comedies.

The Sarah Silverman Program (Comedy Central) 10:30 PM EST
Laura has the brilliant idea of telling Sarah she's intersex, born with the genitals of both sex, in an attempt to get Sarah to "man up". I'm sure this is the one time Sarah takes Laura's advice as it was intended. Meanwhile, Brian and Steve have to find a way to rid themselves of the ghost of a man who was killed by a TV remote.

Theater of War (Sundance) Midnight EST
Angels in America writer Tony Kushner is one of the people asked to consider the legacy of Bertolt Brecht in this documentary following a production of Mother Courage and Her Children starring gay-fave Meryl Streep. I wonder how much I've retained from studying Brecht (very breifly) in college.

Watch What Happens Live (Bravo) Midnight EST
Andy's guest list tonight includes RuPaul and gay-fave Rikki Lake. I have to admit, my adoration of Lake wasn't strong enough to watch a VH1 reality show but I might be willing to tune in here.

Daytime Preview for Friday, February 5

One Life to Live (ABC) Check local listings
The baby drama continues after today's action with both Fish, Kyle and Roxy showing up.
