The boys are back on today, which makes the second time this week (and the third for Luke)! Things are looking up in Oakdale for our gay couple, with or without predatory hot tub parties and leering LGBTQ student group leaders. Brian will be here to liveblog at 2PM EST, as ever.
Survivor: Micronesia (CBS) 8:00 PM EST
The newest Survivor season introduces a "fans versus favorites" twist, meaning one team is made up of new competitors while the other is an all-star team from past seasons. None of our past gay favorites are back (sigh, I could stand to see more Brad Virata) but the "fans" tribe includes openly gay beauty pageant coach Chet Welch. I'm feeling a bit mixed about checking this season out ... the "fans vs. favorites" focus is an interesting take on the game but I'm not eager to see Jonny Fairplay on my TV again.
Lipstick Jungle (NBC) 10:00 PM EST
If Cashmere Mafia didn't recapture that Sex and the City magic for you, perhaps this adaptation of Candice Bushnell's (who wrote the column that inspired Sex and the City) novel will do the trick. After being disappointed by Mafia, I'm feeling cynical about Jungle, but I'll probably check it out.
Make Me a Supermodel (Bravo) 10:00 PM EST
It's fashion week and the supermodel wannabes hit the runway in the Bryant Park tents. Hm, I'd worry that we're not going to get the gratuitous footage of the cast in various states of undress, but judging from past episodes, they'll find room to keep up the guilty pleasure quotient.
