Queerview television guide: July 9

CBS' summer reality binge makes its return this week with a "high school cliques" theme and a gay man in the cast. The series has been a gay-fave guilty pleasure in the past, but does it still hold up?

But first, it's another soapy day as Nikki deals with what she saw on The Young and the Restless and Noah has a talk with Damien on As the World Turns.

Gay-fave comedienne Margaret Cho visits the View ladies today, probably to discuss her upcoming comedy, Drop Dead Diva.

The Young and the Restless (CBS) Check local listings
Y&R's gayest week ever continues today when Nikki tries to start up a conversation that starts with "Victor, I just saw the most interesting thing..."

If I've got my spoilers right, today should see Noah (and hopefully Luke) in the spotlight as he turns to Damien for advice on dealing with his past. Hmm, has Damien ever talked with Noah about how Mama Grimaldi tried to destroy Lily? It seems like those two are due for a bonding conversation there. Today also should feature more of Henry in drag.

As the World Turns's Trent Dawson

Big Brother (CBS) 8:00 PM EDT
The "peek behind the curtain" aspect of the show still has some appeal for me, but the past few seasons have been such a bust, and the hype for this season has yet to draw me in, so far. How are other Big Brother viewers feeling about this season? Are you excited or still waiting for the show to grab your interest?

The Fashion Show (Bravo) 10:00 PM EDT
While I usualy think the challenges on this show have been pretty intriguing, this week's sounds pretty generic. They have to create a red carpet dress that will earn a spot on the best dressed list. I'm guessing there's some twist coming.

It's more Nuke today as our boys have a talk about histories and putting aside memories of Col. Pervy.
