I find the ranting on this show hit-and-miss. If the target is some powerless fool, the show is annoyingly strawman-y; but when they take on people who have influence for no good reason, it can be a pretty effective evisceration of a deserving target. Tonight's season premiere sounds like the latter, as it takes on anti-porn activists on the right and left. Then again, I have a bad feeling the show will include a repeat of Camille Paglia's dumbest hits...

Deputy Weigel is reunited with her estranged, recently-incarcerated father and ... well, would you be surprised if it turned out she has daddy issues? It'll be interesting, too, to see if Lt. Dangle plays a role in the reunion, considering Weigel's crush on him...
