Queerview television guide for March 3

Ameera runs into trouble with Homeland Security, which probably means the storyline the show has been telegraphing since Ameera first appeared is kicking in. It's looking like another eventful week for Nuke, though considering what happened last week I'm not particularly excited. However, a liveblog is always worth getting excited about and Brian will be here delivering all the much-needed snark starting at 2PM Eastern.

Live with Regis and Kelly
Recent Tony winner David Hyde Pierce is scheduled to appear on the show today. It sounds like he'll be discussing Curtains, the Broadway show that won him the Tony and is still going strong.

Shirley Jones hosts this look at the early movie musicals (including the films of the Great Depression era) up to collapse of the studio system in the 1950s. Clips include performances from Judy Garland, Debbie Reynolds, and James Cagney and clips from the likes of The Wizard of Oz, Meet Me in St. Louis, Singin' in the Rain and more.

Transamerican Love Story (Logo) 10:00 PM EST
I've realized why this show works for me in a way reality dating shows usually don't: on this show it's usually someone who got to spend time with Calpernia who gets eliminated, so the eliminations are based on bad dates, leaving the show feeling more realistic than The Bachelorette or its genre siblings. Is anyone else enjoying this one?

    Transamerican Love Story

I am 100% behind this show, devouring each episode. Calpernia is a dear, and I think you're right, she seems to have a better sense on how to make the reality show more realistic, and applicable to herself than others in the past have done. Could it be southern honesty, or something? At any rate, I love it and am following it closely!

    I missed the first few

I missed the first few episodes of Transamerican Love Story and would love to catch up... why hasn't Logo run a mini-marathon yet?  So frustrating... any other channel would be running these episodes every weekend.
