Queerview Television Guide (Wednesday, March 10 2010)

The fire at the Suarez home may have been traumatic but what could possibly lead to Betty and Wilhelmina sharing a novelty tiki cocktail?

But first, ABC's comedy Wednesday has Judy Greer, Facebook exes and an overworked Mitchell on tonight's Modern Family.

As the World Turns (CBS) Check local listings
While it's not the storyline I'm most interested in, there's a Luke appearance scheduled for today as he figures out that something is up with Faith and confronts her.

Mercy (NBC) 8:00 PM EST
No surprise that Angel is back to not having a plot tonight, but hopefully he'll still show up this week as house calls prompt drama for Sonia and Nurse Payne.

Modern Family (ABC) 9:00 PM EST
Mitchell brings his career home again as he gets frustrated with a boss who has been overworking him and gets ready to say "Enough." I expect we'll also hear how the long hours affect Cameron. Meanwhile, Judy Greer appears as an old high school girlfriend of Phil. I love this show but it's been hit-and-miss when it comes to making good use of their guest stars. Hopefully, they're setting up a contrast between Claire's imagined deep "sexy voice" and Greer's real life voice in this preview.

High Society (CW) 9:30 PM EST
Since remaking 90s soaps isn't working out for The CW (too bad, I was hoping they'd move on to Central Park West or Models Inc.), I guess they're following the model of Bravo's reality dramas with poorly-behaved rich people, including a gay man, Paul.

Ugly Betty (ABC) 10:00 PM EST
With the entire family living in her apartment, Betty dates a fireman hoping to hurry the investigation. I guess all those other times Betty learned that being sneaky doesn't end well still haven't taken hold. Marc, meanwhile, should be busy as Wilhelmina tries to reconnect to an old flame and Amanda gets closer to Claire's secret son, Tyler.

Lanie Kazan also appears as Bobby's (Adam Rodriguez) mother

Shear Genius (Bravo) 10:00 PM EST
So far, the three members of Team Gay have made it all the way to the final six without any losses. Can they keep it up this week when they have to create a winning look for actress' head shots.

The Real World (MTV) 10:00 PM EST
This sounds like another week with Mike on the back burner, as Andrew thinks he's in love. I'm sure this time he won't be an inconsiderate jerk. Also, Erika complains about the state of her music career. Again.
