Queerview television guide for March 12

As the World Turns (CBS) Check local listings
It's been a busy couple of weeks but, judging from this week's spoilers, Nuke makes just one appearance this week ... which, if there are silver linings to be found, means just one Ameera appearance this week (perhaps TPTB realized that viewers playing the "Back in Iraq" drinking game still had a hangover yesterday?). As always, we'll be giving the episode the liveblog treatment, making all the wedding talk (and other ridiculous moments) a little more bearable with a healthy dose of snark, so check back in at 2PM Eastern!

The Ellen DeGeneres Show (syndicated) Check local listings
Ousted American Idol singer (and current Soup recurring graphic) Danny Noriega stops to talk with Ellen today. Ellen's been hitting out gay reality TV radar a lot lately, hasn't she? Funny lady Wanda Sykes shows up, as well, which should make today's show pretty fabulous.

Supernanny (ABC) 9:00 PM EDT
It's another episode tackling queer family issues as this week's brood includes a son dealing with gender issues (though it sounds like the episode's focus is on his sister who's a "complete handful" and sets a Supernanny misbehavior record).

Top Chef (Bravo) 10:00 PM EDT
Bravo's cooking reality show returns for its forth season and while there are no gay male contestants this season (there is a lesbian couple), we do have Ted Allen's appearances as a judge to look forward to (though he doesn't appear in tonight's episode). Each season, the show visits a different culinary capital and this time it's Chicago, a city that's been on my culinary travel wish-list for a couple years, so hopefully some of those restaurants I've been reading (and re-reading) about will get a little bit of TV time.
