News, Reviews & Commentary on Gay and Bisexual Men in Entertainment and the Media

The Oprah Winfrey Show (syndicated) Check local listings
The cast of gay fave franchise Sex and the City gathers to discuss the upcoming movie. I have to admit, I'm struggling to get excited about this movie despite being a fan of the show. Maybe this will change that, provided the whole cast gets an even amount of attention.

Ugly Betty (ABC) 8:00 PM EDT
Project Runway's Christian Siriano and Nina Garcia make a guest appearance on tonight's episode, as Renee (Gabrielle Union) starts to lose her grip on her sanity. From what I've seen, Christian does a pretty hilarious job of sending up his Project Runway rep; I hope he gets more screen time than what I've seen. (I'm bummed that Heidi Klum won't be on hand to introduce Nina Garcia, because I love the way Heidi says her name.)

Step It Up & Dance (Bravo) 10:00 PM EDT
An acting challenge somehow involves a guest appearance by former Seinfeld star Jason Alexander. I predict more of Oscar being utterly cute in this one, though I'm not sure he'll do well in this challenge, either.

Lil' Bush (Comedy Central) 10:30 PM EDT
I've sampled Comedy Central's animated comedy a couple times and I've never found it to offer the kind of sharp political satire I expect from the network of The Daily Show and The Colbert Report. Maybe tonight's episode - where an invite to a "Rainbow Party" (which turns out not to be as as gay that sounds) leads to lil' George getting into a same-sex "purity marriage" with his dad - will change that.

    I find it ineteresting

I'm hoping this means Project Runway in general and Christian specifically have an increased profile. Normally I would expect this out of one of the NBC properties doing a stunt casting to cross promote their own shows, essentially having this shoved down the throat of whatever show runners were involved by the brass at the network. That this is happening on a rival network says to me that he's considered high profile enough to bring in on his own merits rather than as a stunt to increase Project Runway ratings.

Christian has simply GOT to have a scene with Justin

and that's all there is to it.

    Forreal, right?

An All About Eve-style subplot would be amazing.

Okay...I can't stand the posturing anymore...

EVERY picture of Christian drives me NUTS. Is there NOTHING relaxed and less queeny about the guy? He may be talented when it comes to clothes, but it's good thing he's not a model...cause he's one note wonder.
