Queerview television guide for May 4

It's a landmark night for Barney Stinson (Neil Patrick Harris) as the How I Met Your Mother lech prepares to celebrate a landmark 200th sexual conquest. Remember when the common wisdom said that audiences wouldn't be able to accept an openly gay actor playing a straight character?

But because 30 minutes with NPH isn't enough, Entertainment Tonight has him giving viewers a tour of Rome.

Entertainment Tonight (syndicated) Check local listings
Okay, so last night, I left the room during a commercial break only to hear the name Neil Patrick Harris though the walls. Hooray for technology and the ability to rewind live TV because the promo on the show's website doesn't mention NPH in Rome at all. Apparently someone thinks a porn star's plastic surgery is more interesting to internet visitors.

Greek (ABC Family) 8:00 PM EDT
So far this season, Calvin has mostly been the guy to listen to Rusty talking about his romantic angst or the guy that almost ends up listening to Evan talk about his identity crisis. There's no mention of Evan in this week's story, but the wedding of a ZBZ alum does leave Rusty needing an ear again. Also, Rebecca kisses Ashleigh's lesbian sister and she likes it. I guess that gives someone else reason to talk to Calvin.

How I Met Your Mother (CBS) 8:30 PM EDT
While Barney has a milestone to celebrate this week, he also gets some bad news in this week's episode, one that sounds likely to be a turning point for his materialistic player persona. I won't spoil the development, but you can spoil yourself in the preview clip below:
