Queerview Television Guide (Wednesday, November 18, 2009)

Last week, Glee offered a strong episode described as a "turning point" for the series. Will we see the series build on one of its best-reviewed episodes this week?
And on the other end of the dial, Cameron and Mitchell are reminded of what their life was like before Lily became a part of it.
The Rachael Ray Show (syndicated) Check local listings
Kyan Douglas returns to battle Gretta in a "beauty tip-off" as Rachael suggests unconventional ways to prepare for Thanksgiving, like using "EVOO" as shoe polish. (Which sounds like a waste of a quality ingredient to me.)
The Young and the Restless (CBS) Check local listings
Just as I was getting used to seeing him in Genoa City again, today Phillip says that he might have to move back to Australia to help Cane. I guess that's better than him totally disappearing, like he almost did earlier.
Mercy (NBC) 8:00 PM EST
Like in many a relationship/workplace drama, watching her marriage fall apart is the cue for Veronica to discover she's pregnant. In all likelihood, Angel will have a few (very few) words of advice for her or Sonia.
Glee (Fox) 9:00 PM EST
The Glee Club gets split up into pairs to perform ballads, but an illness forces Mr. Schuester to step in. Since that eventually leads to a performance of The Police's "Don't Stand So Close to Me", I'm not expecting it to go well.

Modern Family (ABC) 9:00 PM EST
Cameron and Mitchell revisit their old, pre-Lily lifestyle this week when they spend some overdue quality time with their gal pal, the hard-partying Sal (Elizabeth Banks). Once again, I love that Modern Family has spent so much time exploring different relationship dynamics for these characters.
Nip/Tuck (fx) 10:00 PM EST
Candis Cayne guest stars in tonight's episode. There's no word on what will she will be doing, though the episode is named after her character.
Chelsea Lately (E!) 11:00 PM EST
Ross Matthews returns to the panel tonight as singer Justin Bieber talks with Chelsea.
Daytime Preview for Thursday, November 19
The Oprah Winfrey Show (syndicated) Check local listings
Thursday, Oprah shows viewers how to give their man a makeover, and (hours before the sixth Project Runway finale airs) Tim Gunn stops by with advice. I guess we can consider this the episode of Tim Gunn's Guide to Style that would have eventually come if the series continued, where Tim doles out advice to a guy.
