Queerview television guide for November 19

Things heat up on As the World Turns today when Brian Wheatley tries to help Luke in a time of crisis ... with some unexpected developments. Be sure not to miss today's liveblog at 2PM EST, as this one's going to be a doozy! Also, the cheftestants have to work the lunch shift at Tom Colicchio's restaurant on Top Chef.

As Luke heads on a post-expulsion downward spiral, Brian Wheatley tries to step in and help. That leads to a moment I used to hope to see back when Laurence Lau was on Another World ... 'cept not quite this way. Check out a clip of Noah and Luke from today's episode below.

Today's show has Brad Pitt and Cate Blanchett show up to chat with Oprah. Considering Pitt's past statements supporting the rights of gays to marry, it'll certainly be interesting to see if Pitt discusses Proposition 8.

Top Chef (Bravo) 10:00 PM EST
I should be more than a little disappointed to see Team Rainbow lose a sweet-seeming kewpie doll like Patrick (though I'm still yelling at him from my TV about cooking with an unfamiliar ingredient) but that was probably my favorite season opening so far. Besides that, since I haven't taken a good look at the NY restaurant scene, I know I won't be spending the season grumbling about a lack of Alice Waters or Grant Achatz, as in previous seasons.

And don't forget to check out our Gay TV Grid for an up-to-the-minute guide to all that is gay on TV!
