It's a busy Thanksgiving weekend for gay TV as CBS gets a double dose of Adam Lambert on The Early Show and The Late Show, Sundance starts airing the fifth season of Shameless, and David Bromstad shows us what it takes for Disney World to decorate for Christmas.
And it all starts up with Thanksgiving in Llanview on One Life to Live which we will be following with a liveblog, so be sure to join us starting at 2PM Eastern!
Wednesday
The Early Show (CBS) Check local listings
With the controversy of his American Music Awards performance still in the news, Adam Lambert is scheduled to perform this morning. If they don't take this opportunity to talk with him, Letterman will get a chance.
One Life to Live (ABC) Check local listings
Kyle and Fish spend their first Thanksgiving together with Cristian and Layla. It's a holiday for couples who helped each other get together.
As the World Turns (CBS) Check local listings
Thanksgiving in Oakdale arrives and, as usual, it's reason for the Snyder clan to gather and celebrate, even if Noah isn't exactly in a celebratory mood.
The Middle (ABC) 8:30 PM EST
Last week, Modern Family's lead-out, Cougar Town, turned in a gay-themed episode and now lead-in The Middle gets a little gay as Sue gets her first boyfriend, a guy who sets off her family's gaydar.
Glee (Fox) 9:00 PM EST
Eve guest stars this week as the the adviser to a rival high school's Glee Club, someone who might be getting information from a Sue Sylvester seeking an opportunity for sabotage. Meanwhile, Kurt has ulterior motives when he helps Rachel try and impress Finn.
And be sure to stop by tomorrow for the Glee recap. We'll otherwise be spending the Thanksgiving holiday realizing that we've made too many side dishes to fit in the oven with the turkey, so be sure to catch up with the Glee Club when you need a break from the holiday.
Modern Family (ABC) 9:00 PM EST
It's time to learn about Cameron's history when Fizbo the Clown shows up for Luke's birthday party. (Isn't Luke a bit old to have a clown at his birthday?) Eventually, someone ends up in the hospital.
I've been awaiting this episode ever since Eric Stonestreet posted this picture
The Late Show with David Letterman (CBS) 11:30 PM EST
There's no getting away from Adam Lambert or people talking about Glambert. In the case of Wednesday's Late Show, Letterman will have a chance to talk with Adam about his new album and that notorious AMA performance.
Thursday
Macy's Thanksgiving Parade (NBC) Check local listings
There may not be an appearance by the Glee crew but with the likes of Alan Cumming, Gloria Gaynor and Jane Krakowski scheduled to appear, the parade may still draw the interest of gay viewers.
RuPaul's Drag Race Marathon (Logo) starting at 2PM EST
With the second season cast revealed, spend the holiday remembering the drag queens whose Jimmy Choos they'll have to fill: From Akashia's jumping to Ongina's MAC Viva Glam ad, and the time Rebecca Glasscock's smile suddenly disappeared.
CNN Heroes: An All-Star Tribute (CNN) 6:00 PM EST`
Neil Patrick Harris is among the stars who will be there when Anderson Cooper hosts this celebration of everyday people who have made a difference.
Friday
Live with Regis and Kelly (syndicated) Check local listings
Neil Patrick Harris will visit the Live set right about the time I start turning leftover turkey into breakfast.
Shameless (Sundance) 8:00 PM EST
Return to the Chatsworth Estate for a lengthy, 16-episode season that starts with Frank being told he doesn't have long to live. I'll be watching for local gays Ian and Mickey, who get to be as dysfunctional as the rest of the locals.
Shameless' Ian Gallagher and Mickey Maguire
Ugly Betty (ABC) 9:00 PM EST
Shameless followed by Betty? I may be more thankful for this than the lack of gays (and, thus, my not having to ever watch) on The Hills. And this week's Betty has Alec Mapa returning as Suzuki St. Pierre? I guess Suzuki will be all over Wili for dealing with tragedy by wearing sweats in public.
Chelsea Lately (E!) 11:00 PM EST
Guy Branum makes a second appearance on the panel this week as Australian nature show host Ranger Stacey Thomson.
Saturday
The Decorating Adventures of Ambrose Price Marathon (Logo) starting at 1:30 PM EST
Here's one way to recover from holiday stress, by catching up with Ambrose as he takes on new skill sets such as learning how to build furniture or decorate cakes, as well as the little things that make him a better decorator.
The Wanda Sykes Show (Fox) 11:00 PM EST
Kathleen Madigan joins Wanda this week. Surely we'll hear about Wanda's Thanksgiving and, possibly, finally, giving us an out funnyperson complaining about their partner the way straight hosts do.
Sunday
The Amazing Race (CBS) 8:00 PM EST
That certainly turned out to be a well-timed non-elimination leg, didn't it? This week, one team ends up taking a pass on the roadblock, taking a four-hour penalty. Could it be that Sam and Dan finally decided to stop letting the challenges get in the way of their bickering?

Behind the Magic: Disney Holidays (HGTV) 8:00 PM EST
David Bromstad hosts this look at what it takes to make the holidays magic at Disney World. If you're exhausted from giving your home a touch of holiday decorating, this should make your work seem small in comparison.
Brothers & Sisters (ABC) 10:00 PM EST
Matthew Rhys makes his directorial debut this week, as Justin and Rebecca's wedding nears and, if the clips Rhys has been showing are from this week's episode, Scotty, uhm, prepares a deposit towards his and Kevin's future child.
FOX announced
Glee
While it'll be difficult to go without Glee from Dec-Apr, it'll be airing after American Idol, which is a huge vote of confidence. Fox has used the post-Idol slot to turn modest hits into major hits. Glee was already a hit for Fox, but this means Fox sees it as the next House or Bones.
