Queerview television guide: The Weekend of October 2

This weekend's gay TV picks start with Facebook founder Chris Huges joining Martha Stewart's Tech show, and wraps up with Kevin and Scotty's quest to become parents continuing on Brothers & Sisters.

But first, it's a double dose of gay love triangles on today's As the World Turns and One Life to Live. We'll be giving OLTL the liveblog treatment today so be sure to join us starting at 2PM Eastern!

Friday

The Martha Stewart Show (syndicated) Check local listings
It's "The Tech Show" today and Martha takes a look at social media sites with the hope of demystifying them for her audience. In addition to guests from Twitter, Yahoo and The New York Times, Facebook co-founder Chris Huges will join the effort.

One Life to Live (ABC) Check local listings
Soap opera love triangles rarely work for me nowadays. Too often it's clear how things will end up and the time in between seems like an exercise in futility instead of building tension. That's not the case for me with Kyle, Fish and Nick and I'm looking forward to see Oliver admit that he still has feelings for Kyle on today's show.

As the World Turns (CBS) Check local listings
Things finally get moving with Mason as the film professor admits his feelings to Noah which, to no one's surprise, doesn't go well with Luke. Look for a Daytime Drive-By by Ed Kennedy later today.

Friday Night with Jonathan Ross (BBC America) 9:00 PM EDT
So far, the BBC chat show has so far failed to grab me when I've sampled it, but an appearance by Graham Norton just might be able to convince me to give it another chance.

Stargate Universe (SyFy) 9:00 PM EDT
While the gay-inclusiveness of SGU is more of interest to our sister site, the darker expansion of the Stargate franchise should grab the interest of gay geek guys thanks to the inclusion of Ugly Betty alum, David Blue.

Stargate Universe's David Blue

The Late Show with Craig Ferguson (CBS) 12:35 AM EDT
Tim Gunn stops by to chat with Craig tonight to discuss the current Project Runway season.

Saturday

Saturday Night Live (NBC) 11:30 PM EDT
With gay-faves hunk Ryan Reynolds hosting and performance artist/pop singer Lady Gaga performing, this week's SNL sounds like it has the potential to be one of those SNL episodes that has people talking about it on Monday.

Sunday

The Amazing Race (CBS) 8:00 PM EDT
While I'm liking Sam and Dan -- especially after the way Dan handled the Wasabi Bomb -- I'm not sure if I should get attached to them while there's a U-Turn still waiting to damage a team's chances. In the meantime, I'll enjoy watching them as the Race continues in Vietnam and racers work to transport animal statues.

Bored to Death (HBO) 9:30 PM EDT
He's suddenly everywhere! After appearing on CSI: Miami and The Good Wife, Denis O'Hare appears on HBO's new comedy.

Brothers & Sisters (ABC) 10:00 PM EDT
Kevin and Scotty continue to debate their options to have a child as Kitty waits to hear what's making her sick. Do they really expect me to connect with Kitty's story, considering last season's fake-out about Robert's "death"? Also, an out Tony-winning actor makes a guest-appearance in this week's episode. Would you like to guess who it might be?
