Queerview television guide: October 13

GSN's update of The Newlywed Game starts its second season tonight with a celebrity edition that includes its first same-sex couple with George Takei and Brad Altman.

But first, it's Fish vs. Ross at the booking station on today's One Life to Live, we'll be following Ross' attempt to avoid giving out information, so be sure to join us starting at 2PM Eastern!

It's been two years since he last visited Ellen, and today former Grey's Anatomy star TR Knight stops by to discuss his new stage role in Parade.

Booking Ross should continue to test Fish's patience today... I'm wondering if Fish loses it before or after he realized Ross' last name isn't Raymond and there are (presumably) warrants out for Ross Rayburn.

The Newlywed Game (GSN) 6:00 PM EDT
Considering the iconic imagery of The Newlywed Game I'm sure I'm not the only one with a checklist of moments I'm eager to see -- the first "making whopee" question, the first disappointed look followed by a smack with the answer card and, especially, the first kiss following a correct answer.

Flipping Out (Bravo) 10:00 PM EDT
Jeff continues to drive me away this week by threatening to replace Zoila. Sigh.

Chopped (Food Network) 10:00 PM EDT
Ted Allen returns for a new season of up-and-coming chefs dealing with surprising ingredients, starting with a kumquat-centric appetizer course.

The Naughty Kitchen (Oxygen) 10:00 PM EDT
While "door whore" Curtis doesn't seem to have a major story this week, he'll definitely have to deal with Emily's struggle with the job when she doesn't show up for a shift.

Chelsea Lately (E!) 11:00 PM EDT
Ross Mathews returns to the panel this week. It sounds like Chelsea doesn't have a guest tonight, so does that mean more sketches or more time with the panel?

Daytime Preview for Wednesday, October 14

The Martha Stewart Show (syndicated) Check local listings
Rachel Maddow shows us how to make decorative toadstools out of pumpkins which, for some reason, I'm more eager to see than an extended cocktail demo.

One Life to Live (ABC) Check local listings
Fish continues to deal with Ross on Wednesday and it sounds like Oliver's exasperation gets to the point that electricity becomes involved.
