So far, there's been one important member of Modern Family's Pritchett family we've yet to meet: Tonight mother DeDe shows up in the form of Shelley Long.

It'll be interesting to see how this goes, Rachel Maddow is supposed to demonstrate how to make decorative toadstools out of pumpkins today, but considering how she's been out sick all this week, I'm wondering how far in advance the show tapes.

After turning the stun gun on him yesterday, Fish takes Ross back into custody... but today also promises the return of Lea DeLaria as Madame Delphina. (Meanwhile, I'll keep hoping we get to catch up with Professor Del Fina.)

Modern Family (ABC) 9:00 PM EDT
She's been estranged from the family since "The Incident" at Jay and Gloria's wedding but tonight mama DeDe returns for a surprise visit. This should be a good chance to find out more about Mitchell who Jesse Tyler Ferguson has described as "a mama's boy." If you can't wait to find out what "The Incident" was, check out the preview:

Glee (Fox) 9:00 PM EDT
It's Will vs. Sue as the Glee Club gets a second faculty advisor. That should give the hilarious Jane Lynch plenty of opportunity for screen time and, hopefully, more of Sue Sylvester's great lines. And, as a bonus, Greek's Zack Lively (Heath) is supposed to appear in this week's episode.

Cyrus' client this week is a 12-year-old whose step-father takes on the "pageant dad" role when mom is deployed to Iraq. Mixing the Iraq war and child pageants? Oh boy.

Okay, for all the lecturing Ash and Michael got about dealing with unusual situations as a personal chef, I have to wonder how many times Tom wasn't allowed to cook in a client's kitchen and was stuck working on a hotplate? Hopefully, the cheftestants will get working equipment for this week's "Pig & Pinot" challenge.

With a new hit series established, Glee creator Ryan Murphy's cosmetic surgery drama starts its final season tonight. The series has always been able to generate discussion and that probably won't change for its swan song.
