This weekend sees the very gay Ugly Betty kick off its fourth season with a two-hour premiere, as Mode is in for some big changes.
And that's not the weekend's only debut as IFC's critically praised, six-hour documentary on Monty Python starts on Sunday and Logo airs An Englishman in New York, the follow-up to the Quentin Crisp biography The Naked Civil Servant.

Ugly Betty (ABC) 8:00 PM EDT
It's a new day for Betty and a new job as she starts working as Associate Features Editor. Unfortunately, she has a new officemate who hates her and Marc working to undermine her. Meanwhile, we also have appearances by Lynn Redgrave, Alec Mapa (as Suzuki St. Pierre, of course) and Judy Gold.
Ghost Whisperer (CBS) 8:00 PM EDT
Bryan Batt makes an appearance in tonight's episode, but since his character is only listed as Maitre D', I don't have my hopes up we'll see a lot of him.
The Jay Leno Show (NBC) 10:00 PM EDT
Ross Matthews is expected to show up with his first comedy segment on tonight's show. Hopefully, we'll see some progress from how The Tonight Show used to treat Ross in his intern days.
Real Time with Bill Maher (HBO) 10:00 PM EDT
Maher has quite a guest list set for his season finale including the frequently gay-adjacent (or just playing gay) Alec Baldwin, Rep. Alan Grayson and Gary Shandling.
Saturday
The Graham Norton Show (BBC America) 10:00 PM EDT
Graham's guest this week include True Blood's Anna Panquin and the frequently gay-inclusive comedy duo David Mitchell and Robert Webb. Dare I hope that Graham has a "Numberwang" stunt planned? Either that or something inspired by the surprising adventures of Sir Digby Chicken Caesar?

Celebrity Ghost Stories (Biography) 10:00 PM EDT
Biography's new series of celebrities telling stories of their experiences with ghosts gets pretty gay this week with John Waters sharing an experience he had in the '50s along with stories from gay-faves Carrie Fisher and Rue McClanahan, who both have a spiritual encounter after the death of a good friend.
Sunday
The Amazing Race (CBS) 8:00 PM EDT
The race heads to the extremes of Dubai facing extreme heights, extreme speed, extreme heat and, uhm, winter sports. That dreaded u-turn is still out there so... uh-oh.

The Simpsons (Fox) 8:00 PM EDT
In the twentieth anniversary edition of The Simpsons's annual theatre macabre, Lisa homages Hitchcock, Krusty leads Springfield to be overrrun with zombies and Moe becomes the Sweeney Todd of microbrewers. Plus, Michael says that one of the stories includes a gay version of a Springfield resident.
Monty Python: Almost the Truth (The Lawyer's Cut) (IFC) 9:00 PM EDT
Celebrating the 40th anniversary of the influential comedy troupe, this six-hour documentary takes a comprehensive look at this group's history which will include archive interviews of late gay member Graham Chapman.
American Dad (Fox) 9:30 PM EDT
When Roger gets in the way of Stan and Francine's hope for summer alone time... and, of course, Francine's attempt to get him out of the house works out a little too well.
Brothers & Sisters (ABC) 10:00 PM EDT
Sarah returns from Paris and she's bringing Gilles Marini with her. As much as I was dreading last week's Kitty centric episode, it turned out to be a solid episode, hopefully B&S stays strong for a Sarah ep. And be sure to join us for another livechat and discuss the show with fellow fans as it airs.
An Englishman in New York (Logo) 10:00 PM EDT
John Hurt returns to playing Quentin Crisp, the writer and performer who refused to live in the closet when homosexuality was still a criminal offense in the UK, in this film that follows Crisp's life in the early '80s. By then Crisp was enjoying new fame and popularity after his memoir, The Naked Civil Servant had been adapted into film (where Hurt previously played Crisp). Denis O'Hare, Cynthia Nixon and Swoosie Kurtz also star in the film.

That Ugly Betty picture just seems... wrong for some reason. I didn`t even realise it is UB at first. And why is Justin in THAT pose? I know he is a fabulous gay kid but not many guys can pull that pose off.
Fixed but it will
Apropos of nothing except a sop to the libido...
...if you get a chance to Hulu yesterday's "Parks and Recreation," it's a very funny episode with guest Fred Armisen as a visitor from Venezuela. Not only is this show getting funnier every week, but this episode has one of the most gorgeous young men (20-something) I've seen in many an eon--he's Latino, and one of the guards who tries to arrange a date with April, a member of Amy Poehler's staff. Seriously, this guy is like the love child of Gilles Marini and David Archuleta, and is screen-meltingly beautiful.
I just noticed that there was no mention of Degrassi.
