Queerview television guide: October 5

Monday is a double-documentary night as Kirby Dick's look at openly-closeted politicians Outrage makes its debut on HBO tonight and then the Sundance Channel takes a look at the relationship between Christopher Isherwood and Don Bachardy on Chris & Don: A Love Story.

But first, the mayoral race in Llanview is heating up on One Life to Live and we'll be following the action with a liveblog so be sure to join us starting at 2PM Eastern!.

When Barney starts making long disappearances, Robin starts to wonder if he's reverted back to his old ways and seeing other women... except that the truth is pretty far from her suspicions.

Outrage (HBO) 9:00 PM EDT
It generated plenty of debate when it was making its way through theatres and it'll be interesting if HBO put this one into high rotation and start the discussion about the ethics of outing anti-gay politicians.

Greek (ABC Family) 9:00 PM EDT
It turns out there's more complications for Calvin and Grant than Grant's worries about coming out as it turns out that Grant was one of the Omega Chis who taped Rusty to a wall... will the tension between Grant and Rusty strain the romance? And is there a gay catchphrase about putting your friends ahead of romance, like "Sisters before misters"? In case you missed it when we posted it earlier, here's a preview from tonight's episode.

Logo's latest reality drama follows quirky designer Ambrose Price, who hopes he can go from small town Canadian to the country's next big designer.

Isherwood has been on my people-to-research list ever since I watched Cabaret in high school and, while I'm probably most interested in the earlier parts of Isherwood's life this doc should be a good starting point.
