Queerview television guide: the Weekend of September 4

Your Labor Day weekend's gay TV includes a chatty Friday -- with Neil Patrick Harris, Nate Berkus, the Pet Shop Boys and Rufus Wainwright all making the rounds, a chance for Sal to move his career forward on Mad Men and the debut of Were the World Mine.
And it all starts with a wacky misunderstanding on today's One Life to Live. Join us as we liveblog it all starting at 2PM Eastern!
Friday
One Life to Live (ABC) Check local listings
Cristian's mother Carlotta comes a-knocking on their door today, just in time to have a wacky mixup over a copy of "How to Come Out to Your Parents". It's the hilarity we've all been waiting to see.
Glee (Fox) 9:00 PM EDT
I'm not sure if tonight's "tweet-peat" for the Glee pilot will turn out to be an ingenious bit of interactivity or a way for celebrity-based infomania, but it'll be interesting to watch the #Glee hashtag tonight.
Tweeting along tonight's Glee tweet-peat at the east coast time, Lea Michele (Rachel), Kevin McHale (Artie) and Mark Salling (Puck)
And your west coast hosts, Cory Monteith (Finn), Amber Riley (Mercedes) and Chris Colfer (Kurt)
Friday Night with Jonathan Ross (BBC America) 9:00 PM EDT
The BBC's talk show has Rufus Wainwright stopping by tonight, as well as fashion icon Dame Vivienne Westwood.
Late Night with David Letterman (CBS) 11:30 PM EDT
Neil Patrick Harris will be visiting Dave to discuss the Emmy awards and, most likely, tease what's coming for the upcoming season of How I Met Your Mother.
Jimmy Kimmel Live (ABC) 12:05 AM EDT
Designer Nate Berkus is scheduled to appear tonight. Did no one tell me that this week's theme is adorable style icons who the public forgets is gay.
Nate Berkus and Neil Patrick Harris
Late Night with Jimmy Fallon (NBC) 12:30 AM EDT
Tonight's show is expected to feature a musical performance by the Pet Shop Boys.
Saturday
Paula's Party (Food Network) 7:00 PM EDT
Ted Allen stops by today for Paula's "caramel party". Normally, the mention of caramel will get my attention but somehow I'm sure Deen will find a way to overdo it.
Sunday
Big Brother (CBS) 8:00 PM EDT
No matter who is Head of Household, this is going to be a tough week for Kevin since, with only three options for nomination left, will have to win the veto to make sure he's in the final three, but I guess that's a worry for Tuesday's show.
America's Best Dance Crew (MTV) 9:00 PM EDT
The remaining crews take on "current dance crazes" this week. I have to admit, that doesn't sounds particularly exciting to me, but I was excited for martial arts week and that didn't turn out so well. Maybe I'll have my expectations reverse once more.
Mad Men (AMC) 10:00 PM EDT
This will certainly be an interesting week for Sal as the Sterling Cooper art director gets his chance to direct an ad for the first time. Sal's comment last week got me thinking about how little he's pursued career advancement. Knowing Mad Men, that comment may have been setup for this week. Here's a preview of the action.
Monday
Greek (ABC Family) 9:00 PM EDT
Rusty vies for the attention and approval of Jordan's father when he comes to visit her on campus. He asks Calvin to help smooth things out, but it looks like dad would rather have a gay jock dating his daughter than a straight nerd. Meanwhile, Dale considers new churches in light of his loss of virginity. Hopefully, Dale will discuss the matter with his former purity pledge brother.
Were the World Mine (Logo) 9:00 PM EDT
Logo premieres the highly buzzed indie musical on Labor Day, the story of an openly gay teen who discovers the love potion hidden in A Midsummer's Night Dream and turns his conservative, small town upside-down.
Dance Your Ass Off (Oxygen) 10:00 PM EDT
It's time to catch up with the contestants and find out how they've been doing since the show stopped filming. From what little I've seen of the previews, Miles looks amazing.
Chelsea Lately (E!) 11:00 PM EDT
Staff homosexual Guy Branum returns to the panel tonight as Chelsea has a chat with returning Desperate Hosuewives hunk Jesse Metcalfe.
