Queerview television guide: September 14

With a unique voice and style, Gossip Girl earned a gay following before it revealed that younger van der Woodsen, Eric, is gay. Since then, we've only gotten a to see Eric in brief appearances. Hopefully, with this season teasing a same-sex kiss for Chuck, we'll also see more of Gossip Girl's actual gay -- after all, who does Jenny have to confide in now?

But first, join us for a One Life to Live liveblog as the standoff between Serge and the Llanview PD continues, starting at 2PM Eastern!

One Life to Live (ABC) Check local listings
As much as I enjoy seeing Fish show off his professional mojo, I'm keeping my fingers crossed that today wraps up the whole Star-in-jeopardy arc. Then I won't have to pay attention during both Star and Stacey scenes, which quickly gets exhausting.

The Oprah Winfrey Show (syndicated) Check local listings
While pop divas isn't my Obviously Gay Trait (okay US pop divas, as my Sophie Ellis-Bextor and Saint Etienne collection reminds me), I'm sure there's plenty of gays who'll be interested in today's one-on-one interview with Whitney Houston which promises that "no topics are off limits".

Inside the Actors Studio (Bravo) 8:00 PM EDT
Love or hate, it pulls strong emotions from gay viewers with its irreverent sensibility, willingness to offend and frequent visiting of gay issues. Tonight, the cast of Family Guy will be discussing one of the few TV shows to come back from cancellation.

Greek (ABC Family) 8:00 PM EDT
As Cypress-Rhodes gets ready for the annual "Undie Run", Calvin and Grant go searching for some alone time away from the other Omega Chis. The only problem - their date could end up as a double-outing when they go to a romantic restaurant and their waiter turns out to be Evan. I guess there's going to be explaining to do all around.

TCM Prime Time (Turner Classic Movies) starting at 8:00 PM EDT
Gay icon Barbra Streisand is the focus of tonight's prime time line-up with Yentl starting it all at 8PM, followed by The Way We Were at 10:30, Funny Girl at 12:45 AM and ending with The Owl and the Pussycat at 3:30 AM.

Gossip Girl (CW) 9:00 PM EDT
Considering where we left these characters, it should certainly be interesting to catch up with them and how they spent their summers. There's the newly united Humphrey/van der Woodsen family, who've adapted to the Hamptions life, Blair and Chuck's evolving relationship and how long will Georgina stick around?

True Life (MTV) 10:00 PM EDT
Taking a look at polyamory, MTV's look at young people's lives follows a gay "trouple" as they deal with relationship issues.

Late Night with Jimmy Fallon (NBC) 12:35 AM EDT
Rufus Wainwright is tonight's scheduled musical guest. Hopefully, he'll get some couch time, as well.
