Queerview television guide for June 18

Did you catch the previews for this week's As the World Turns? Apparently, Luke and Noah do the bit where one of them drops a stack of something and their hands touch in picking it up. I've decided to find it to be adorably retro. If I find out which day this happens, I'll mention it here, though the spoiler fairy seems to think viewers are only interested in Carly, Chloe and Meg.

The View (ABC) 11:00 AM EDT
Mario Cantone stops by for another visit as Margaret Cho is scheduled to guest-host. I'm expecting liveliness to happen when the two share a couch. For a taste of what Mario got up to last time he stopped by, check out this recap.

Screened Out: Gay Images in Film (Turner Classic Movies) starting at 5:00 PM EDT
Tonight they're screening a selection of horror films. Most of the films are described as having a lesbian subtext, save for The Picture of Dorian Gray, but films like The Uninvited and The Haunting (with Julie Harris) are great examples of horror filmmaking -- they effectively evoke an eerie atmosphere and quiet chills -- that are well worth checking out.

As always, Queersighted.com, the official online partner,is an excellent resource on the month-long event.

Paper Dolls (Sundance Channel) 9:00 PM EDT
This 2006 documentary looks at a quartet for transgender Filipino caregivers working in Israel who also work in nightclubs as drag performers.
