Watch 10-Year-Old Will Phillips' Moving Speech at the GLAAD Awards

While attending this year's GLAAD was a pretty amazing experience for a lot of reasons -- especially for the fact that our very own Brent Hartinger snagged the prize for his article Why Can’t You Just Butch Up? Gay Men, Effeminacy, and Our War with Ourselves -- the second best moment of the evening came courtesy of ten-year-old Will Phillips who was honored his speaking out against intolerance.

If you missed the story at the time, Will garnered national exposure when he declined to say the Pledge of Allegiance because gay and lesbian Americans are denied the right to marry. 

Will already had the crowd on their feet before he accepted his award, but the audience of 1400 people went absolutely crazy when Will delivered this speech.
