Exclusive "Greek" scoop! Meet Calvin's potential new love interest!

Great news, Greek fans — we just got the exclusive news that Grant, the potential new love interest for gay fratboy Calvin, has been cast ... and it's a face you just might know. It's Gregory Michael, best known around these parts as Dante's Cove's Kevin Archer.

Learn more after the jump, but be warned as there are few spoilers!

My source tells me that Michael is set to start shooting his first episode tomorrow which is called "Isn't it Bromantic" and airs on Monday, June 1st. In the episode, Calvin (Paul James) has decided he wants a new roommate since his current roommate is getting awfully busy with the ladies. Evan assigns Grant to be Calvin's new Omega Chi roomie.

At first Calvin has no idea there is another gay in the house, but Grant does let Calvin know the deal before they make the switch. Calvin is determined to keep the relationship friendship, but how long could you resist the charms of someone who looked like Gregory Michael?

While this will be Michael's second high-profile gay role, something tells me won't be seeing quite as much of Grant as we did of Kevin (if you're not sure what that means, check out our pic-filled Dante's Cove recaps). Stay tuned for more details!

    If they allow the story line to develop, rather than burry it in some sort of sub text, this should be very interesting and I can't wait to see how it fairs out.

    Well he is no Max Greenfield, but he is very hot.  I guess I can put up with him.  I am just glad Calvin finally has someone again.

    And check out Dante's Cove while I'm at it: Gregory Michael is soooo totally my type--those eyes are making me melt!

    It's funny because his hair is blond on Dante's Cove, and Greg Lee's hair is jet black on Dante's but blond in real life. The two Gregs. I got whip lash. 

    And you HAVEN"T seen Dante's????? Get right on that, just don't have anything else important on the go.....

    This makes me as giddy as a schoolgirl! I am so happy that I will be able to see Mr. Michael on TV again!! Although I know I wont be seeing as much of him as I did on Dantes.

    But what does this bode for Season 4 of Dantes Cove???

    Is it just me or does it seem like a very big stretch for this guy to be playing a college student?  I'll admit that some people can go into the "super-senior" status, but he's still reading a little too old for even that.  Plus he's straight and that already makes my heart sink...

    GM may be straight, but he's shown that he has no problems with smooching guys - and does it pretty convincingly.  I don't think we have to worry about any boy/boy kissage being awkward or hesitant.
