Good news Eric Winter Fans! Viva Laughlin cancelled!

For those Brothers & Sisters fans who have been hoping for a speedy return of Kevin's (Matthew Rhys) love interest from far off Malaysia, there is good news! After airing just one episode, CBS yanked the plug on Viva Laughlin! faster than you see Hugh Jackman. That means Eric Winter is now free to return to his role on ABC as Jason McCallister. The question, of course, is what Jon Robin Baitz and Greg Berlanti cooked up to keep Kevin busy over the next four episodes. Was he going to fall for Scotty again? Is someone else waiting in the wings? Or was he just going to be busy helping out Scotty, dealing with Uncle Saul's issues, not to mention the rest of the Walkers?
I'll let you know ASAP as I hear anything.
In other Brothers & Sisters news, Sunday night's episode beat Shark by one million viewers, and did even better among the 18-34 demographic. And the gay boy's debut on Desperate Housewives didn't hurt that show at all as it made it four weeks in a row as the number one show on Sunday nights.
And CBS is replacing Laughlin with the new cycle of the frequently gay-friendly The Amazing Race. No word yet on gay contestants, but we're looking into it.
