Ronnie for the WIN!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
Literally only 256 votes separate Ronnie from the first place guy in that contest, so I voted for him!!! I hope AfterElton mentions the contest again cuz 1,513 votes have already been cast for Ronnie, so he could definitely win this thing if we pulled together (you don't have to register or anything to vote, you just click the vote button, and verify your unique vote by typing some randomly generated number, to avoid spamming).
Also Michael, its weird you mentioned the lack of color in the new Eating Out movie cuz the Urban Decay's Pocket Rocket Lip Gloss contest doesn't have any men of color for the Top 10 in the contest either :( What's up with the visibility of African American gay men? SEXY black gay people do exist, otherwise I wouldn't be here!!

"Eating Out" has always been a rather white series
I remember one Asian guy, but that's pretty much it for diversity. In fairness, the movies are shot and set in Arizona IIRC, which is a pretty white state aside from Latinos & Native Americans--very few African-Americans or Asian-Americans.
If folks are looking for portrayals of gays of color, check out the forthcoming films "Misconceptions" "Rivers Wash Over Me" & "Two Spirits", all of which I saw at the SF Gay and Lesbian film fest, the first two of which had plum roles for African-American actors, and the third of which explored GLBTQ issues in a Native American cultural context. Also, "Ander" was set in the Basque region of Spain, and had a main character from South America as a love interest. (Those were just the ones I saw; there were another 10 or more films with non-white protagonists as well.)
Eating Out 3..
No Brett Chukerman from Eating Out 2??!!!! Nooooo!!!!!
That man needs more exposure. He's good in my book. :D
Argh
Hmmm, couldn't you have linked to a more positive write-up of the pro-gay Potter fans? The article was more than a little snarky and condescending; I have a pretty low opinion of these sorts of conservative web sites and don't even want to give them any traffic.
I'm like a superhero, with no powers or motivation...
Heroes
Typical hollywood homophobic crap.
So a major character like Clair can turn into a lesbian but a minor barely there male character can't be gay because gay guys are gross and lebians are hot correct?
Now I hate this show even more. I'm glad I stopped watching last year. We gays are not fooled by this hollywood. This has nothing to do with us and everything to do with straight male bs fantasies.
Probably
No, they made Zach straight
Believe...
I'll beleive Claire turns lesbian on Heroes when I see it. It smells of a desperation ploy to bring back viewers, especially those of the straight male ilk. I don't buy it that this will turn out to be true. Or if it is, it is some story beat for one episode.
Once upon a time I died. And like my namesake I got better.
Are We Still Talking About Heroes? Sigh.
No one is harder on the festering, omnipresent corpse of this briefly great show than me. But in this one instance, I think people are being overly harsh on it. This was almost certainly developed during Bryan Fuller's brief, only very recently ended second stint on the series. Considering that he's openly gay, and was basically being put at the head of the ship to keep it from floundering on the rocks, I don't believe any such thing would have gotten through under his watch.
Nor does it ever appear, whatever its other many faults, to have been a show pandering to a brainless fratboy mentality. If anything, it's too far up its own ass in intellectual bravura.
Eating Out 3
Scott Herman
Am I remembering wrong?
Didn't Scott come across as quite homophobic/transphobic on the Real world? I may be mixing him up with another cast mate from another season. Over 20 years and they're all pretty much interchangeable with each other. Except the one I dated - you know who you are - so don't be mad at me regarding my previous comment.. ;-)
Lior, you tease!
Dish the dirt--or at least give us a region of the US to guess from! (Or London.) :)
Sorry
Scott
Good to know
I didn't really watch much of that season. He seemed like a good guy in the few bits I saw; but I think I was mixing him up with someone else (like I said earlier).
No big whoop
I didn't watch that season that much either... it was my stereotypical gay voyeur inner dark side that made me watch his segments really... like alternate universe Spock. ;-)
How singularly innocent I look this morning.
Chrolli Vlogging
Thore and Jo are just so cute together.
Is that part of offical show publicity or are the guys just giving us Great Fanservice :)
I wonder what they are saying?
Always knew us Potter fans
Always knew us Potter fans were the coolest ;)
