oh geez
poor george clooney. if someone stripped and asked me for a kiss, i would probably die of embarrassment. fans can be so damn weird. i also notice in regards to this stripper guy, a lot of headlines have the word "gay" in quotes like that. i'm assuming nobody knows if the man is gay, so they put the quotes there incase...he isn't? or is? weird
the washington post piece....i clicked on the link and the journalist still seems confused as to why people would be upset. I understand wanting two sides of the story and all, but if i am correct from reading that, they made this man sound like a loveable guy who would never want to hurt anybody.
also, the end of that article: "That doesn't mean that what NOM is trying to do and how they are trying to do it are not important to hear about," she wrote.
^ this confuses me. so she thinks it IS important. 'we cant ignore it' basically. everybody knows how NOM works and what they are trying to do. I'm still not sure what that article was trying to say. it seemed to say "well, lay off. she was only trying to be fair"
i don't care what her sexuality is. i think she still comes off as an idiot. sort of reminds me when melissa etheridge tried to tell people rick warren is a good man, blah blah. whatever.
That 'christian gene' vid is
I'm sorry...
...but that briefs guy does absolutely nothing for me

I may be straight, but I'm not narrow.
Johnny Weir!
To Johnny Weir: It's your right to stay in the closet, but please don't insult our intelligence when you rationalize it by saying, ''It's not like anyone goes up to Michael Jordan, asking, 'Hey, are you black?' ... I've never once asked a person if they are gay or black.'' Being black is not analogous to being gay. Unless you're blind, anyone can see if someone is black. (Arguably, most folk can see Weir is gay, too.) If Weir ''loves gay people'' and ''has no shame of who'' he is, why not acknowledge a simple fact of nature? He should save the energy of skating around the truth, for the ice.
I have news for you, Johnny
Isn't he doing the same thing Adam Lambert did, though?
I don't live in the US, so I'm not exposed much to either of them, but Adam Lambert did the same thing didn't he? I know Adam eventually said it explicitly, but most people were completely supportive of his choices even before he did that.
I have no agenda here, as I stopped watching figure skating when the new judging rules were implemented. I don't have an emotional attachment to Johnny Weir, either way. I'm just curious.
Briefs Guy Is Foxy
Talk about a penetrating gaze.
Damn, boy!
The stripper guy is from an
The stripper guy is from an Italian TV show, "Le Iene", that sends out people to make outrageous reportages and similar stuff. A sort of infotainement, if you will, mixed with 'comedy' sketches like this one... plain stupid to me.
I don't know if the reporter, Mauro Casciari, is actually gay.
