To Make a Long Story Short ... Wire Daisies' "Gay Boy", Homophobia Does Dallas, and more!

  • I don't quite get the dancing sheep or the lyrics "'cause he's a gay boy and it shows. But it's okay, Boy. No one knows" but the Wire Daisies song "Gay Boy" is pretty catchy nonetheless.
  • We posted on the new B-52s album a while back (the first in 16 years!) and while this Rolling Stone article doesn't provide much new info, we're so jazzed we're posting it anyway. (Actually, Lyle has moved passed "jazzed" to full-on "blissed".)
  • Dallas thinks homophobia is the way to better personal appearance. Couldn't they have just called in the Queer Eye guys instead? Imagine trying to change something by scaring folks that it might make you seem black. I swear, I couldn't make this stuff up if I tried!

  • And as always, don't forget this week's BEST.GAY.WEEK.EVER! with more on ATWT, other literary characters coming out, and this week's "gratuitous underwear shot"!

Cool news on the B-52's, I

Cool news on the B-52's, I also heard that Aqua and Ace of Base are planning a comeback. Combined with the Spice Girls (my first fanboy obsession), it's pretty awesome!

Drop your pants dude, show

Drop your pants dude, show me your behind! Everything else would be rude...

I'm just randomly dropping this here on an unrelated post: Please don't diss Ugly Betty's recent episode in the recap this week. I watched it two times already and still think it's one of the greatest pieces of television since Angels Of America!

Pants up please

guys it is not attractive.  I agree with Dallas that the whole hip-hop pants around the hips thing has got to go.  The message was somewhat homophobic, but frankly what better way to shame straight guys into changing their fashion sense!

Cheers

Let Me Educate You!!!!

Like it or not it's true, the style does come from prison culture meaning, that if your wearing you pants below your ass that you do get f*cked, or that you're someone's property..... It's not just a hip hop style, preppy white boys, white skaters boys, and white boys into puck rock wear there pants hanging off their ass too...There's nothing homophobic about the campaign, sure they want to make the guys think that it's gay showing off their ass like that because we all know if you want straight guys not to do something make it gay........

Homophobic Ad

The Dallas ad is homophobic.  It plays on the fears of straight males "looking gay."
