![]() Cheyenne Jackson named to Logo's Legacy CampaignIt's no surprise to regular readers that we here at AfterElton.com are huge fans of Broadway star Cheyenne Jackson. So when we heard he'd been named as one of those to be honored by Logo's Legacy Campaign, our reaction was, well, Duh! Frankly, even though he's not yet forty, it's hard to think of too many folks more deserving than Mr. Jackson. In addition to being enormously talented, he beat most of today's other big gay names out of the closet by years. And Jackson didn't do it after intense speculation or due to controversy; it's simply who he is. That along with the charitable causes he's involved with make him more than worthy to be honored this way. BTW, I really encourage you to watch the video after the break. I'm a pretty big Cheyenne fan, but even I learned all kinds of things about him that I hadn't known before — and that made me admire him that much more. Congrats, Cheyenne! You deserve it!

Get outta here, Cheyenne Jackson!
/End shout to all you [tos]sers out there...
Can this guy get any better? Congrats to him! I so admire his authenticity and confidence. He's a great example of living your life on your terms without apologies -- but still never forgetting that there are other people in this world who can benefit from your time, consideration, and help. He's a gem!
Beautiful man
brilliant performer
Cheyenne=Pride
Cheyenne Jackson is the greatest star in the world and a hero to millions! This video illustrates why: his gorgeous voice, enormous talent and matchless beauty are equalled by a heart full of love, a compassionate soul and a righteous sense of gay pride. I can't wait to see him tonight in the first preview of Finian's Rainbow, on Broadway at the St. James Theatre! I am prouder than ever to call myself a Cheyennetologist! Thank you, Cheyenne!
this IS your time, Mr. Jackson
and We are grateful.
" It was a beautiful way to grow up and I had a wonderful childhood (my Dad built our house & for a time we had no running water & had an out house)."
Gotta love this man. So unpretentious and sincere.
So without theatre school, or an agent or manager, or an apt. or a job -- he goes to NYC, leaving a successful, "happy little life", because he knows he has something to give.
He Should be proud of accomplishing what he has on His terms. One of them being nice enough to send the kid in the Midwest a pic. Who knows what that kind of thing may do? Cheyenne does !!! We are Proud of you too. Thank you. Truly a legacy before 40 years young.
I hope he gets back all the love & joy he has given to many people & charitable causes.
