Christian Siriano's "Ugly Betty" clothes anything but ugly

Yesterday People Magazine posted a couple of pics from the May 1 episode of Ugly Betty which features a guest appearance by Project Runway winner Christian Siriano. Frankly, this seems like brilliant casting as the over-the-top Christian and his equally over-the-top clothes fit in rather well with Betty. Christian designed all the clothes being worn by the models as well as Amanda's (Becki Newton) outfit. I confess to being rather intrigued to see the episode.

Fierce

I can't wait for Ugly Betty to return next week. Although I am disappointed hearing that we won't be seeing more of Marc's BF Cliff.

If Christian Siriano didn't exist--

the writers for Ugly Betty would have to invent him. Such a perfect match. And I hope he gets a scene with Justin.

Christian Recycling Already?

Isn't that the same dress that Christian created for Holly in 'Make Me A Supermodel'?

Recycling...

I do believe that dress is strikingly similar to Holly's, the only exception being the color palette. I knew I'd seen it, but thought maybe it was on Project Runway. Thanks for making the lightbulb come on Dave.

Did anyone catch Amy Poehler doing Christian on SNL? It was too hilarious.

"You are a tranny who looks like a hot mess, and not in a good way. You're a tickety-tack super-tranny from Transylvania, and you're not apologizing for it!"

"Fierce."

These clothes look great from what I can tell, but...

Did any of you see the dress he designed for Kimberly Locke on American Idol--it was dreadful.  Christian cannot design for women with curves.  He can only design for women who have his figure (except for female wrestlers).
