Oh hell yeah!. Now I may have to watch it. 

Besides Mutant X, he has been on Charmed ( I really did like the show ) where he was Cupid.

He's always nice to look at. Plus he can act!

Still, it's an interesting character description, and it hasn't been done to death. And the CW has a young, female demographic if you look at the numbers, so they should be gay friendly.

Interesting choice! Considering that Katie Cassidy (Ella Simms) was his ex-girlfriend in Harper's Island. I wonder what their relationship will be since he was more menacing to her in a slimy way to her in HI. At least they have worked together and had some time to build some chemistry. Good for him for taking on role. The picture with the open green jacket is the closest to him that I remember.

I remember when this role was mentioned on this site before and it was said that the producers are looking for somebody who was "extremely masculine" - at least I think that´s how it was phrased.

No offense to Mr. Webster, but he looks like the typical boring metrosexual model type that you see everywhere. That look passes as "extremely masculine" nowadays? Really?!?

Dang. Now I have to watch this thing. I wonder if it'll be as insane as most of the original was? (If you'll recall, season 1 was so earnest it was practically a different show. It wasn't until Micheal turned into a bastard and Heather Locklear joined the cast that it became an over-the-top soaper.)

He played a minor gay character before in Must Love Dogs.

And I thought I had amassed enough reasons not to watch this show and they give just about the one that can make me watch.

Mayor crush ever since Mutant X, and he has played gay before, some comedy with Diane Lane, the name escapes me.

So good to know that Victor Webster is the television ideal of "very masculine." Now all I need to do to complete my instant butch makeover is get a great haircut and use bronzer to highlight my cheekbones.  

Don't get me wrong. Victor is very pretty. I find him sexy. And he's a decent enough actor (Mutant X and briefly on 'Days'.) But come on, this guy wouldn't last 10 minutes in a Colt video let alone a 'manly' construction site.

He's going to be the 2009 Matt.  Gay and just there so the show can claim "we are all inclusive, diversed, blah blah blah."  But I can bet my house and granny that he will not have anything to do until the show's about to cancel.

Melrose Place was my first soap (even though I was already in my early 20s when it debuted), so this show already had me locked in for the debut (albeit with one foot already out the door in case it didn't deliver).  So to me, this is just gravy.

Not to bitch at anyone in particular, but... um... Yes, these are photos of a very masculine man, whether gay/straight/bi/tri. Not all masculine men sport cowboy hats, and weigh in at 305 lbs.
