Forbidden Love clip update: What a tangled web we weave...
Anyway, in today's installment, Axel keeps muddling around and is apparently so concerned that Christian not be cuckolded that he's taken to following Judith and Fabian around Dusseldorf. Either that or we're starting to see some soap opera elements creep into the story and Axel just happens to be in the park the same time as Fabith. Either way, it's a bit clunky in an Oakdale sort of way. Strolling around the park, Fabith continues their tiresome discussion about her being Christian's beard, how hard it is on Fabian, wah wah wah. Someone posted in the comments that the beard storyline was getting old and I wholeheartedly agree. Definitely time to move on and fortunately the sotry does just that thanks to Axel getting a wee bit more assertive.
Hmm, just what kind of go is Axel really interested in? And with whom
Yes. Yes, it is. I'll be glad once we move past the beard storyline and Christian's coming out to the world. Forbidden Love has handled it relatively well, but I'm really interested in seeing a storyline that is about them as couple without the "gay" stuff being central to the plot. I know it's a soap and there need be conflict, but I think the writers of VL can give us something a bit more original than this. Finally, I'm leaving you with a picture of Olli gazing adoringly upon Christian just because Olli looks so darn adorable! I am also happy that Fabian (or Gregor in the course) has shaven Christian's beard off, so that we again have some clear seperation between Ollian and Fabith (<-lol).

Wow, I'm glad the beard storyline has ended already. Poor Fabian, I was starting to feel very sorry for him eventhough he's a jerk. Hopefully him and Judith can start off fresh from hereon.
And how freaking CUUUTTEE does Olli look in that screencap?!!? GAHHH! I love Olli & Christian!! There better be a hot love scene between my boys in the coming eps. :)
Shaven Beard - will always grow again !
I am glad that gregor sorted out the beard thing. But I cant help but notice that Christian didnt look into Judith's face/eyes while asking her whether she met Fabian.Also in the last scene where Fabian and Judith hug each other we can see Christian looking over at them.. And this f***ing Axel said Christian that he thought Judith was cute..!! Am i being too pessimistic.. :-P

If anything, this turn of events has given me confidence that they're not going to pull a Christian/Judith on us (possibly because of the weird-ass portmanteau, more likely because the chemistry is non-existant) - if they were, they'd have played out the storyline longer, or at least laid groundwork here by having Christian remotely sad that the beard thing was over. As it is, his reaction is "Thank God, it was nuts, now let's never speak of it again" (I think was can all pretty much agree on that); if anything, I'd say he was avoiding meeting her eyes 'cause of guilt, and isn't he smiling at the end as he looks at them? But yeah, I'm with bkrage85 on this one - fight, knockout, win, public smooches, gloating, curtain falls and we move on to just about anything non-boxing-centred, the faster the better.
That said, postives from today's clip include Axel's increasing madness (seriously - responding to "we're not friends" with "it's OK, you can vent at me, that's what friends are for" is stalker levels of crazy denial); Judith slapping him one (I do kinda love her, even if she has awful, awful taste in men); Gregor and his GIANT sideburns saving the day (thank god one person in this little scheme has more than two brain cells to rub together) and the already-mentioned adorableness of Olli. He doesn't even need more than 10 words of dialogue to be one of the highlights of a clip!

Has anyone noticed that the more dominant that Christian is to Axel the more Axel seems obsessed with being his buddy. He's totally looking for an alpha dog to make him do all those naughty things he's so afraid of.

Words don't describe how much I love Olli. I agree, he doesn't need lines..let him just be in the room, being all adorable and I'm smiling.
And Christian..I'm SO happy that storyline is ending and without what could have been a dreaded triangle. I will absolutely die the day the show starts to pull the Ollian love.
I've always thought Jo
I've always thought Jo Weil is one beautiful man, but OH MY GOODNESS! in this particular episode, he is beyond stunning....just drop dead gorgeous!
And as for the beard debacle...glad to see it come to an end. It was such a strain on both relationships. And I never had a fear that Christian and Judith would fall for each other. Christian has shown 0% interest in Judith, and visa versa. And lets not forget Christian is blinded by his love for Olli. The two are almost glued at the hip. And Judith has only eyes for Fabian, least we forget she chose him over Constantin.
So now the storyline moves on. And from the spoilers I have read, it's going to be one heck of a ride come August.
Gosh...I just love this Ollian storyline. It's so well written and acted, plus Jo and Thore make one heck of an on screen couple.
