"Forbidden Love" video clip update: The guys clean up their act
Don't fret over that photo of Chrisitian wearing his bathrobe with a woman in the apartment. What happened on the episode was actually quite the opposite. That's Judith in the photo above and she is actually a friend of Christian's and when she learns the truth about him and Olli she agrees not to tell anyone, including Christian's brother Gregor.
I know there was something importang going on in this scene where Olli is chatting with Christian while he showers, but for the life of me I can't recall what. Just imagine Nuke hanging out together while one of them showers.
This is a great kiss, but to understand the context you'll have to watch the clip after the jump! All I can say is, it rocks! Thanks to ichglotzutube for subtitling and to see more Forbidden Love visit The Gays of Daytime.

Ollian are the cutest couple! Unfortunately, it has rendered Nuke almost entirely unwatchable.
I'm totally with Psionycx on this one
I just wanted to add also that this show has some really nice production values. The lighting is just great and the camerawork is really good too.
I also think that all of the scenes that involve Ollian, whether they're together in a scene or seperate, are SO REAL. Not only are they both easy on the eyes, but their kissing scenes and other displays of affection don't seem forced at all. What really did it for me was in the previous episode (?), when Olli was desperate to get Christian to unlock the door and he said "Christian...I've fallen head over heals in love with you". SIGH!! Again, it looks soooo real and so natural. I mentioned in a previous post somewhere that Olli looks so much like (a little younger) Det. Donald Flack (Eddie Cahill) on CSI:NY, and that's a good thing as they're both so handsome! I just may end up confusing the two LOL. All that is left now is for the IIC over at P&G to take notice and fix the NUKE mess right away and bring ATWT up to VL's very high gay-quality standards. Peace :)

Psionycx, you're right. VL's Ollian storyline is so superior, even without subtitles, that ATWT's Nuke shenanigans, even dating back to last summer, seem quaint and amateurish by comparison. It's too bad really because I like the Nuke actors a lot.

The Ollian storyline is so well written, acted and very intriguing, it makes the Luke and Noah story seem even more shameful, and nowhere near as 'groundbreakng' as many thought back in September of 2007, when one of only two kisses in nearly eight months took place. I mean, Luke and Noah look prehistoric in comparision. I actually feel embarrassed for both Van and Jake for being the leads in such a poorly written storyline. All they've basically done in eight months is hold hands, hug a few times and look at each other. All because the TPTB say we can't offend whoever the hell are suppose to be offended by two men sharing a simple kiss and showing a little affection towards each other. Who these people are that are suppose to be offended I don't really know, since polls seem to indicated otherwise...viewers are in full support of the storyline.
Yesterday's episode was so sweet and filled with such happiness for Olli and Christian. It's just such a lovely and refreshing storyline. And that fire between the two actors is quite amazing.
Looks as though there is a little bit of a wait coming before the next episode. I think Olli and Chrisitan's next appearance kicks off again on April 14th. I can't wait!!
Will the offended audience please stand up...

The offended audience in question is (as described by P&G/CBS/ATWT) the "core" or "traditional" audience. This audience has been described as mainly stay-at-home moms, housewives, and the elderly/seniors. It has been implied by the producers of the show that the "core/traditional" audience have been viewers for decades. This audience has been identified by the show as not having a problem with gay characters per se, but DO have a problem seeing two gay men kiss on screen. So there you have it...not ALL viewers are in full support of the storyline. If that was the case then why would the show do a complete "one-eighty" on the storyline? It doesn't make much sense. Lobster vs. Freezer Burned Fish Sticks
I spent 10 hours Saturday working on a paper for a writing class so I could get it finished and I'm so glad that I did. I ended up spending 4 hours watching every episode of Ollie and Christian on Saturday. Thanks to the posters at AfterElton for alerting people to this fantastic soap and to those who subtitle on YouTube.
I hate to get on a soapbox but I don’t know how people can watch this amazing soap (great lighting, great sets, great story, great editing, great looking people, great acting) and then watch the ball less eunuchs (oh…excuse me…gay couple) over on ATWT. That’s like eating lobster and then settling for frozen fish sticks that have freezer burn. That whole “taking our concerns to the mainstream media” publicity blitz sponsored by the publicity‑seeking, rainbows and flowers (let’s all think positive!) group over at vh.net was/is ridiculous. What was accomplished? Nothing but free publicity for P&G. There were no consequences presented that would force P&G to change their stance on Luke and Noah and they know that they can cower to the right‑wing, homophobic fascists and still get the hopelessly addicted to watch without changing a thing. And we wonder why our faces are so woefully underrepresented in any kind of real and/or positive way? Because these corporations know that they can feed us s*$t and we’ll eat it. We do it to ourselves. Mission accomplished! For P&G.
Forbidden Love is what ATWT only wishes it could be…funny, intelligent, sexy, thought provoking, and (most important) REAL. Thank God there is an alternative for those of us who refuse to accept mediocrity, and I hope AfterElton, and other gay media, continue to give publicity where it’s actually deserved.

Not only the sets way less fake looking on VL, but the whole deal is better done. The characters are better written and better performed.
Thore, the guy who plays Christian, has been absolutely amazing. His facial expressions really match what Christian's supposed to be feeling at any given moment. Jo has done almost as well with Olli's expressions. This is a sharp contrast to Luke's trademark pouty expression or Noah's pleading stare.
Even the unsubtitled clips conveyed the emotions very clearly. In contrast Nuke convey only one emotion these days: unhappiness.
Also, the hot make-out sessions don't hurt. The Germans are a lot less afraid of homosexuality I guess because they've left no question about Ollian being lovers. This again contrasts our two Nuke-clear eunuuchs and their Victorian courtship.

I love that headline. I was awaiting something completely different when I read that because I didn't make the connection to Christian from Forbidden Love.
I've been reading the comments on the message board of the official VL site, and there has only been 1 person complaining about the sex scenes, all the other posters just found it amazing. I hope that those in charge of the show will catch the reactions from all around the world so that they will continue to show that couple.
