Gale Harold reportedly injured in car crash

There are no real details as of yet, but TMZ.com is reporting that Gale Harold (Queer as Folk, Desperate Housewives) was seriously injured in a motorcycle accident yesterday in Los Angeles. It's been reported that he is at L.A. County - USC Medical Center in the Intensive Care Unit.

Harold's role as Brian Kinney on Queer as Folk was voted the number one gay character on television by the readers of AfterElton.com. We'll keep you posted as more details become available.

    I've done few interviews I've enjoyed more than the couple of hours I spent talking to Gale Harold in Austin for "Documenting a Musical Outsider" for AfterElton.com. I've heard he's a difficult interview, but at least when talking about music, that's not at all the case.

    I hope this isn't true, and if it is, I hope he's not as seriously injured as it sounds.

    US Magazine is saying his rep told them it's a fractured shoulder and he should be fine.
