AfterElton Hot 100 Sneak Peek: Paul Walker

It's time to reveal another of the fine fellows who made this year's Hot 100 list and our next winner is someone who isn't a stranger to the poll, but still kinda surprised me in making this year's list: Paul Walker!

Why am I surprised? It's not as if Mr. Walker suddenly became seriously less attractive over the past twelve months. He certainly still makes my Spidey senses tingle.

I'm surprised because so often making a list such as this depends upon how high profile a celebrity has been the previous year. Yes, Walker just starred in the box office hit Fast & Furious, but it wasn't exactly a "gay" movie, nor has the star of pics such as Eight Below and Into the Blue made himself a gay-fave by playing gay roles or taking particularly gay-friendly stances on gay issues such as Jake Gyllenhaal or Sean Penn

But whatever the reason, us gay boys are still clearly infatuated by Paul who makes the list for the third year in a row.

Put a diesel in your Walker

Ijust saw Fast and Furious and while I love Paul's handsome face, Vin Diesel is one hot guy.  And if I had to choose, it would be the big diesel engine over the walker.  :)

Paul Walker

Yay!  My number one pick.  Paul is the EPITOME of H-O-T to me.  Guuuuhhhh...

Btw, Michael, check out the holiday movie Noel with Paul (and the wonderful Alan Arkin).  I found it surprisingly touching, and Paul has a gay-ish role.  It's certainly a gay-friendly film.  I watch it every holiday season now.

Oh you beat me to it! I was

Oh you beat me to it! I was so thinking of Noel when I saw this post. Didn't you find Paul's hospital scene with Alan Arkin so gut-wrenchingly touching?  I plan on watching this every year too.

I had tears welling up in my eyes

with that scene.  And the silhouetted angel imagery in that scene...spot on.  There's actually a fair amount of star power in the film (Penelope Cruz, who was absolutely gorgeous, Susan Sarandon, incredible in everything she does, and Robin Williams in a low-profile role).  I originally watched it for Paul (of course, heh), but was wonderfully surprised by it by the end.  Certainly caught me off guard with its, um, "open-mindedness" (?) (don't want to put any spoilers in here), though some may find it a bit far-fetched.  I love that stuff though, especially during the holidays.

Verklemmt - absolutely verklemmt I was

with that scene ... and goosebumps all over (spoiler ahead) when Susan Sarandon walked across the hallway to the room opposite to the man in the bed! Have you seen Bella? Great story plus Eduardo Verástegui is a sight to behold.

Eduardo, the self hating mo.

Its a well known fact that he passed through some of the most influential male beds in the mexican entertainment industry and still could not get a career.

Apparently he found god somewhere and became celibate, so then he campaigned for Proposition 8 by doing a group of PSAs.

Ugh. The guy may be beautiful, but he is a complete tool.
