John Barrowman at London Pride with his partner Scott GillJohn Barrowman (Torchwood, Doctor Who) continues to rock as one of the most outspoken, visible faces of the gay community. I just love him and this YouTube clip shows exactly why. John was one of the hosts for London Pride and during some of the activities he pulled his partner Scott Gill up in front of the crowd and planted a kiss on him, something he says he's never done before in public. It's a sweet, fun moment and really puts the "pride" in gay pride. It's a relationship and kiss now being seen by thousands and thousands of gay kids (and adults) who have a great role model to whom they can look up. You go, John! I love this man!
I think that John rocks!! He's certainly helping making gay people more friendly to a different audience, his characters are really butch and get to blow things up so kids and manly men too and he's gay to boot.
He's fabulous!!

I beat Michael to something!
Now, does this look even remotely like what's-his-name? I think not. And this one's tall, too....no apple boxes on the set for JB.
If you can't be a good example, then you'll just have to be a horrible warning.
I shouldn't tell you this, but I'll be attending the Television
Try not to squish him... too
Try not to squish him... too much :-)
Or at least let us know all the details!
Is this somehow....
...a take off point for landing in Wales? As I understand it, John is in Cardiff filming Torchwood until November. Unless they let him out to play very briefly.... (picturing the line of squashed and maimed bodies behind Michael....) Well if you do get close enough to smell his neck...I want details!!!

He'll be in LA for at least
Happy London Pride
He has quite a bulge. I know I'm not the only one to notice.
I don't like when gay couples say they are partners. It sounds genderless and business-like.
I find it sad that he never kissed his husband in public before. The fear of a violent reaction to seeing two men kiss is certainly what is keeping those two from affectionate behavior in public. That's something all gay couples think about unfortunately.
There's a whole discussion
There's a whole discussion going on about The Bulge on the livejournal group barrowmanfans :-)
(I bet Michael is a secret member... )
