Omarosa gay-baits on "Celebrity Apprentice" -- and gets fired

I don't know if anyone is actually watching The Celebrity Apprentice or not (thankfully, I'm not!), but I was surfing around the web when I came across this clip from last night's episode wherein Omarosa "accused" fellow contestant Piers Morgan of being in the closet. Her proof? That Piers (separated from his wife and the father of three children) had had two fellow contestants appear shirtless in a boxing ad from earlier in the season. Um, okay.

Her motivation? Well, she is Omarosa and in a previous episode she had used Morgan's less than stable family life to try and rattle him. Subsequently, he referred to her as "one of the most venomous poisons", a "disgusting little tramp", and an "irrelevant, ghastly little creature". Don't hold back there, Piers!

Here is the clip of Omarosa's "accusation", Donald Trump's response and the subsequent events:

Forgetting Omarosa (who more than anything doesn't want to be forgotten), what really got me was the presumably heterosexual Trace Adkins' reaction when Morgan kisses him on the cheek as a joke. He seriously goes all wobbly because he got a peck from a man? Some big, strapping cowboy he is. His hold on his masculinity must be fragile indeed if that causes him to clutch his head and moan.

And I love how Donald had to explain it was a joke and to tell Adkins to think about it for a moment to understand Morgan's point. Adkin's reaction and confusion makes his first number one single, "(This Ain't) No Thinkin' Thing" seem more like his theme song.

And Adkin's juvenile reaction deserves a juvenile response!

Piers Morgan, Trace Adkins together forever

Don't trouble yourself Doctor -- I'm a celebrity, I'll write my own prescription.

    Calling a spade a spade

I don't watch the Apprentice, in fact the only one I ever saw was the first season. Here we are, several seasons later and for whatever reason, she was invited back. Celebrity edition? I don't consider Omarosa a celebrity. She's a one-(non)hit wonder and for some strange reason, people want to see more of her. She does nothing for me. In my opinion, Omarosa has always been, is, and will continue to be a, NEGATIVE and INSUFFERABLE BITCH! This is coming from a person who does not like to call people names, but she is one of the few exceptions that just gets under my skin and I cannot stand to watch her, not even for a split second. Who the heck (gay or straight) would stand to even date this woman? Or even marry her for that matter? I'm assuming she's single, and if she is...well, I rest my case. Somebody please get this woman into therapy...and FAST!

As for Trace...well all I can say is that it's obvious based on his reaction on that oh-so quick and meaningless peck on the cheek that he is indeed a homophobe. His feelings were so obvious. He's so insecure in his so-called "masculinity". One can only imagine if Piers had kissed him on the lips! I'm not going to go there though. I'm actually starting to think that he's a closet cowboy and that he actually enjoys "riding those horses" if you get my drift. LOL.

I am from a Greek background and in my culture, it's very common for two men (gay or straight) to simply greet each other with not only a peck on one cheek, but both and even a quick hug. I receive a few Greek channels via satellite and this sort of thing can be seen on various talk shows and entertainment shows and we don't make a big deal of it. It's simply not a big deal.

I have two friends that are brothers and when I greet one of them I greet him with a simple hug. His brother on the other hand, doesn't like to hug, he made that clear to me once. I asked him why, and he simply told me that "I don't hug men, it makes me feel uncomfortable but I have no problem with you being gay". Ok...whatever, I didn't make a big deal about it and for whatever reason, I felt compelled to say "I'm sorry" to him. I'm a little confused by this but I said nothing back to him. I just simply didn't want to waste my time and so now, whenever I greet him it's strictly a handshake. His older brother continues to give me a quick hug to this very day.

    Um ... celebrity apprentice???

Who the heck are these people?? I think I recognize Omarosa from a previous apprentice, but I have no idea who the guys are.

And I don't really consider myself a hermit from pop culture. Are we hitting D list celebrities here or have we gone further down the alphabet?

    Eugh...

Omarosa has always been dispicable. Back on "Celebrity Fear Factor" she verbally attacked American Idol Season 1 contestant Nikki McKibbin (who I adore), calling her white trash, and later on, publicly brought up Nikki's personal life (something regarding a close-friend of hers who she had found had died while taping the show), and Nikki just about lost it. Apparently she disclosed it to the other contestants, but had asked that it not be mentioned.

Omarosa has no respect for anyone other than herself, and it makes you wonder why - because there really isn't anything there worthy of respect.

And then there's Trace. His reaction to that just disturbs me, but more-or-less, is just another reality check towards the views that millions of people still have towards homosexuals. Shame.
