Patrik-Ian Polk honored as part of Logo's Legacy Campaign
When it comes to thinking of gay men who have had a genuine impact on gay visibility, especially for gay men of color, it's pretty hard to think of someone who's had a bigger impact than Noah's Arc creator Patrik-Ian Polk.
Polk literally went where no one else had ever gone before when he created his show about a group of black gay men. For the the first time ever, black gay men could see themselves on television, then later on the big screen, living as out and proud individuals.
Even if Polk were to never do anything else (and we know he will!) he can rest assured his legacy is already safe.
Check out this clip of Polk discussing the issue himself.
