Which other suggested they might be gay? I obviously missed that....

Let's hope it's either Alexandra Rousseau's boyfriend or Paulo, the new guy. I think he's Nikki's boyfriend, but maybe he could be closeted or bisexual or something,

Now it has to be the best episode for a LONG time, really clever and gripping.

But the only close to gay refferrance (unless in totally blind or something) was

"Boone asks Paulo if he can take a seat from their table but Shannon walks off continuing to yell at Boone and we can clearly hear Shannon saying that Boone should stop flirting with random guys." (from wikipedia)

Now as much a i would LOVE Boone to be gay he is DEAD! and even though that hasn't stopped people in the past it does seem very much like a throw away line, cause it was not like he was ACTUALLY flirting, just being polite!

Oh and did i forget to mention he was i love iwht his tep sister!

If this is the best LOST writers can do I'm really annoyed. "Ooo we need a gay character - well this one is dead, how about him?"

So the only possibility is that maybe it's Boone and maybe he's bisexual. Shannon had before asked if Locke was "his new boyfriend." The producers had said that while the character would be revealed, he would not say "I'm gay" and it would not be a huge reference, so I guess this counts as another HINT that maybe it's Boone.

If you listen to the actual podcast, you will see that they weren't being serious about introducing a gay character in the episode. (The relevant question is at about the 23 minute mark.) In response to a fan question asking if the gay character will be introduced in the episode, one of them (I don't know who is who, sorry) had forgotten that they promised a gay character, then jokingly said that the gay character may appear in the Nikki and Paulo episode, but the other one said not to hold your breath or look for the gay character because it's not like the gay character says, "Hey, I'm gay."
