Sean Hayes to Host 64th Annual Tony Awards
Following on the heels of Neil Patrick Harris hosting last year's Tony Awards, word was just announced that Sean Hayes would be hosting this year's ceremony on June 13th. And that means that the Tony Awards could not officially be any more gay. Seriously, the awards are already handed out in June which is gay pride month. And at least half the actors, writers, choreographers and so forth are gay, so why not just make it official and have President Obama add the Tony Awards to the list of 100% definitely gay things like drag, The Golden Girls and male underwear ads?

In all seriousness. Hayes — who is currently starring with Kristin Chenoweth in Promises, Promises seems like a great choice to follow in NPH's footsteps. He's funny, quick and while I don't know if his voice is as good as Neil's, he can definitely sing. (No word on whether Newsweek's Ramin Setoodeh approves of Hayes hosting the awards.)
Oh, and as if June 13th didn't already have the Tony's to make for good gay TV, it's also the night that True Blood returns to HBO.
