To Make a Long Story Short ...Matt Damon, Anne Hathaway, and more!

Even though Nick is 100% straight, he still proudly says he finds men attractive, and that he can say that because he is comfortable with his sexuality. 

I think it's almost neater for Nick to be straight but open to flirting and cuddling with Joe (who Nick really did like as a person, and who Nick plans to hang out with), and comfortable with saying that he finds men attractive -- than for him to actually be gay or bisexual.

It's so wonderfully non-homophobic for a straight guy, and a straight athlete to boot.  I still have a lot of respect for Nick.

Can't believe you posted a link to that bitchy Newsweek interview with Anne Hathaway without noting that the interviewer asked her if she was a "hag." Cummon, this woman says that 95% of her friends are gay men and it's OK for some snarky MSM gopher to ask if she's a Fag Hag? Oh, right! She didn't actually SAY fag... she probably didn't even MEAN FAG HAG... she just asked one of the more beautiful women in the English-speaking world if she's a HAG??????

I gagged at the Catholic boyfriend reference, but I am steaming over the interviewer's assumption that she could use a profoundly demeaning epithet- to Hathaway, her brother, her friends, AND gays and their women friends across the country- without paying a price for it.

I expected better, Brian. I was hoping AfterElton would help burn this Newsweek witch.

...I'm happy that he's enjoying success, he's a terrific actor and he deserves it; but if they're gonna make more Jason Bourne flicks, I hope they find a better director than that shallow, unoriginal hack Paul Greengrass.  I've seen better, more artistic filmmaking on episodes of The Love Boat.

I saw the Bourne Ultimatum on Monday, and loved it (loved all three!).  I usually find action movies pretty boring (too little investment in the characters), but Matt Damon played the part very well, and the mystery and intrigue kept me guessing.  But three movies is enough, for once I hope Hollywood curtails its greed and moves on.  That is what I admired about the Harry Potter series, J.K. Rowling stated right from the beginning that there would be 7 books and that would be it (despite making gazillions of dollars).
