To help celebrate National Coming Out Day, Brent and I shot a special episode of Two Gay Guys to mark the occasion. The idea for the vlog came about when Brent had a terrible nightmare about a world where rightwing fundies got their way and there were no gay people anywhere in the world!
Check out the vlog after the jump and be sure to have a great "National Coming Out Day" tomorrow. Especially if you're a U.S. Senator!

The comedy duo strikes again.
Thanks.It's actually Alan
Thanks.
It's actually Alan TURING, which I know, but I screwed up the pronunciation on our one usable take.
He was a gay Brit who broke Nazi codes, but who later was exposed as gay and committed suicide. There's a play about him (Michael's and my first date, back in...1992!) called BREAKING THE CODE.

Considered by some
to be the father of the computer. His work in breaking the Nazi codes during World War II saved countless lives and undoubtedly shortened the war. It is a pity that society was so narrow-minded at one time that a person's private life could negate his other considerable achievements.

Now wait a minute...
Disco! Did you guys just talk bad about disco!?
I'm outraged!
*puts on Gusto 's Disco's Revenge*
Thanks, Guys
I'm really glad you're celebrating Coming Out Day. I have a rainbow ribbon bow on my shirt and a smile on my lips.
I liked the history lesson. Some of that I didn't know. The more we find out what the gay community has done over the centuries, the prouder we can be of who we are.
I'm disappointed there's nothing on AfterEllen about Coming Out Day. Maybe they'll mention it tomorrow.
Enjoy the day!!
Fortunately your
nightmare will never come true (nice dig at the GOP by the way), GLBT have always been with us and always will, they are Mother Nature's way of stirring the pot in society and keeping things interesting. Where would Western civilization be without the likes of Da Vinci, Michelangelo, El Greco, Alan Turing, Tchaikowsky or hundreds of other unique individuals? Look at what has happened to society's that have suppressed GLBT people (Islam comes to mind first)? They have remained stuck in many ways in the middle ages. We still have a ways to go but if the human race is still around in the year 2100 I feel GLBT's will be out in much larger numbers making significant contributions.
By the way I had a much worse nightmare a few years ago, I dreamt Elvis Presley's decomposing body was in a suite bag in my closet! Now that was scary.
Cheers
