Also, that book he read, A Long Way Gone? I have it and have been trying to get through it since about 6 months ago. It's a rough story to read. I know it's an important book but it just shakes your ideas about humanity to the core. I'm stuck in the middle 'cause I know what's going to happen and I can't bear to read.

Last night I sent an e-mail out to my (very) Republican extended family, linking this article about bigotry in 1963 as compared to now, and I explained I was renewing my commitment to speaking up when I encountered hateful speech. I got an e-mail back from my cousin, a pastor at an evangelical church, saying he appreciated what I said and that I was right on. So yay.
I think the good guys can win--on gay rights, freedom of religion, all of it--but only if we don't fall down on the job.

It's not Kris' fault that he's heterosexual. I blame it on straight women. If there weren't women out there converting men to the "straight lifestyle", then all men would be gay. (Think about it. You think guys are going to have _no_ sex?)

Wow, I didn't think Kris was ever going to ever make an appearance here again. I was so happy to read this because Kris needs some support after some lukewarm press about his album, which is actually good for a first effort.
Kris is always so funny and cool. And of course, he's a as cute as a button. I think he's just trying to enjoy what's going on. But I hope more people buy his CD so he can continue with his career.

Kris's CD is being called a dud because it may not have sold 100,000+ copies in the first week. I'm not sure why his fans aren't buying--maybe they're waiting until they do their Chirstmas shopping?
I do know that having heard the whole CD that there are several songs on there that are bettter than his first single. I hope he releases a second single in a few weeks.

I love Kris!
I love Kris, and I really like LLWD. I actually find myself liking Kris's first single more than Adam's. It made me a bit surprised, cause Adam has always been my favorite, well, he still is. It's just that Kris's mucis is more my taste.
I'm also glad that he is so supportive of Adam. He proves that religion has nothing to do with views on gay people. Not all christians are bigoted.

i really hate the way he (and Allison) was treated on Idol, always being understimated to favour Danny Gokey. I remember some tabloid who tried to created controversy telling that he and Adam hate each other, but the body language don¡t lie, and it was very obvious they like each other.
Adam talk recently about his frienship with kris, nothing new here (he always praise Kris) but i find surprising (in a very good way) what he said about Michael Sarver, he basically said that Michael change his point of view, and they relationship evolves to a very good friendship
