Olympic-sized picpost: Celebrating the athleticism of the world's great water polo players and rowers

All pics courtesy of Getty Images

Being the tireless journalists that we are, we never stop scouring the entire world for items that might be of interest to you — even if that means spending hour after hour looking at photos of hot guys at the Olympics. Frankly, if that we're a competition, then we'd already have the team gold. So far we've brought you the swimmers, the gymnasts, and the wrestlers.  Please allow us to now present the men of water polo and rowing!

These are the men ...

... I've been waiting for! Let me be the first to thank you, Michael, for your sacrifice on my behalf. And let me see if I can find you a gold medal -- I'm sure I have one around here somewhere -- will a Reese's wrapper suffice?

Alright!

I think with these "big" pictures, everybody's eyes will wander to the same.... places... ;) thanks mike.

Going crosseyed

My eyes are crossing from trying to figure out where to look first. Dear me -- I think I may have to lie down. (Damn! Why am I stuck here in the office -- without a door?)

Just doing my civic duty.

It is a sacrifice but if Michael Phelps can swim for eight hours a day, I can do this for eight hours a day, dammit!

Good advice, young friend!

Dear TX Michael --

Thanks for the suggestion. But don't worry -- I'll be heading up north to my favorite gay sports bar within the hour, where I'll see plenty of Olympic action, whatever ball games are on, and (best of all) Project Runway!

Thanks for the Canadian

Thanks for the Canadian Content there Michael (Jensen).

Do you want to share your GB dream team ? Either of them or rightside Denmark make me want to dust off the old passport and go travelling.

I'll take the Greek, all of Canada, and 1/2 of Italy and France

If I can only have one, I'll "settle" for some Greek water polo with the beyond stunning Greek bear. What a wealth of riches.....

You'll have to fight me for him, Guillermo!

No, wait -- we can play nice, and share. I'm definitely going to have to bookmark this column!

dgchgo, you're my boy - so take a look at more Greeks!

I tend to be a serial monogamist and could never share Argys (unless by some miracle we became one of these 3way relationships that would freak the neighbors - which would be cool), there is enough Greece for both of us to have a field day/life.

There is plenty of Greek for all...... I'll send you a link

You are such a giver, Guillermo!

Thanks for the Greek sampler (I feel like I'm at a Greektown smorgasbord!) -- I'll let you have Argyis if I can have the Danish rowing pair (multiples are among my favorites) -- and I think I'm in love with the American, Rick Merla, after watching his heroic effort in the semifinal match tonight!
Guillermo Serritiello's picture

Well I try. We're even - You can have rowing pair and ....

Rickt Merla to boot. I am sticking with Argyis although Hungarian hairy-chested visitors will not be turned down for PG-13 chatter.

Look at the stretch!These arms....!

Marios Evangelou can visit tooMarios Evangelou can visit too

as can these 3 Greek water polo players. Did I mention that they are brothers....

So wrong on so many levels, but since Argyis would be my main man, all these would simply be male visitors telling me about their Olympic experience.
